Chapter 6- A candle light dinner..?

Yuu Miura..

The door bell is ringing..
"Coming .."

I open the door and its Akayashi- San , he looks so tired ..his tie is crooked and loosened ,his blazer is unbuttoned... And he really looks very tired ... He's working so hard...

" Akayashi-san ,please come in" I said as I move aside to let him in...

" miura-san, I'm really sorry for the trouble " he apologised while taking off his shoe and slipping his feet into my extra indoor slippers ... "Where is Rin ?"...

" he's fast asleep in my room .. " ..i led him to my living room ...
" please be comfortable " I said .. And he sat on the bean bag ... Since I'm not so well off I can't afford any sofa or couch .. But not that I care about it ..

I head to the kitchen to get him a glass of water...

" water?"

He took the glass " thank you" .. After he had finished the water he handed me the glass ..
" I think Rin and I should go back now , I have to cook as well ,he must be hungry by now " he said and gave a tired smile..

" he ate already .." I said and smiled back at him..

" what !? " he sounded surprised.. He stood up ..
" I'm sorry for the trouble he caused you " ..

" eh.. Its no problem Akayashi-san " I reassured him that its fine...

" thank you ..but.. I think we should head back now.. " he said still standing..

" you had your dinner ? " I asked but not facing him but facing the wall behind him.. Its kinda embarrassing ,I can feel myself blushing.

He chuckled .. " haha.. I'll skip it for tonight. I'm too tired to cook . may be I'll have some snacks ,that will do ...could you please bring Rin to me "....

" umm...mm.. " I mumbled .. Not knowing how to say it..

" miura-san ?" ... He called my name his expression says question mark..

" umm.. I .. I haven't had my dinner yet.. Mm..wou- would you like to ... I mean..if you're tired to cook..." And before I could complete my sentence he cuts in .
" eh. .. No . no its OK . don't trouble yourself.. " he said...
I know I'm as red as a ripe tomato .. Akayashi- San is pink too.. He's a little surprised... I could tell from his expression..

" IT'S NO TROUBLE !" .. This words slipped out of my mouth like a rocket that's just been launched .. I don't know whats gotten into me... Oh God I embarrassed myself again.. I want to burry my face right now..

He chuckled..
" eh!!? " .. I exclaimed.. Uwahh .. I'm sure I look funny right now....

" I guess its OK if u insist " he said as he patted my head.. Every time he pats my head..I have this nostalgic feeling.. It soothes me.. He smiled at me.. And in an instant I don't know what exactly happened that caused me to light up like a million fireflies.. I feel so warm..
...
I head to the kitchen to set the dinner for us..

" I can help.. " he said as he walked in the kitchen ,. He had taken off his blazer now..

"Its OK ,I'm good " .. I replied trying hard not to blush any more than I already am ...

" I should at least help a little for causing you trouble .. " he said and took the bowls from my hand and grabbed two glasses from the kitchen counter and kept it in the dining table in the living room ..
I arranged everything on the table meanwhile he brought the electric rice cooker and kept it on the side..
