Humans are creatures of contradiction
We are confidently unconfident
We are brave in our cowardice and
We are clever in our ignorance
We love to hate
And we hate to love
We rejoice in our sorrow
And we mourn our joy
We savor our problems
Because we feel we deserve them and
We loathe our happiness
Because we feel we are unworthy
Humans. What a bittersweet paradox.
