Ciara's POV

Its been a whole two weeks after the new girl got killed. No lie its been eating me up inside and Davontae and Keith been by my side since then. I was sitting in my room laying down staring off into space wondering how my daughter was doing. I began missing the mornings she would wake me up and we would both look a hot mess.

I was knocked out my thoughts by a knock on the room door.

"Come in," I said sitting up.

Davontae walked in with a smiled on his face. He pretty cool to be honest. Despise the flirting and Cocky attitude we pretty cool. He sat beside me and placed his head on my shoulder.

"See man brighten up, cause I got something for you."

"And what's that something?"

He went in his pocket and pulled out a folded piece of paper and his phone.
He handed me the paper and I unfolded it and smiled. It was a picture of me holding Harmony at the park. It was the day she took her first steps learning how to walk.

"Where'd you get this,"I asked still smiling at the picture.

"The real question is why is your mom and grandma got this lil feud going on?"

"What you mean?"

"It was in your moms place and her house was a mess. Furniture was flipped and glass was everywhere."

"I Dont know and I don't care, my mom was never a true mom to me and I Dont give a fuck what she going through right now."

"She may have been a bitch to you but that's still ya mom. She birthed you and made you so don't think of her being w bad person. Dig deep and find the good shit she did for you."

"Whatever."

I folded the picture up and placed it in my pocket. Seeing this picture made my day and I was relieved from all the pressure that was on me.

"Ciara," he said making me look up at him.

"What."

"You never told me what was up with you and Keith."

Soon as Keith's name left from his mouth my heart did flips. Lately Keith and I been real cool and those feelings I thought I lost was slowly coming back.
