I walked into the school doors and was deafened by the loud noises that came from the students, they were like animals.
If this were back in Paris, they would get punished severely for such misbehavior.
I really should stop thinking of Paris, this is my reality. I have to put my past behind me, all of my past.
I opened my bag and took out a small book which was my instruction guide.
It told me my lockers pin and which classes I had in a day. My first class was English 101.
This instruction guide told me everything except where my classes are. I kept walking in the hallways looking at the names of the classes.
But still I had no luck, by now everyone had already walked into their classes. I saw a boy and walked up to him for guidance.
“Hello, I am looking for the English room?” I asked.
He looked at me in shock before he spoke, “I could take you there if u want!”.
“Would you?” I said in a relieved voice. Finally I found someone helpful.
“Yeah sure! Just follow me” He replied.
When he opened the school doors I said “Oh the class is outside? That makes sense why I couldn’t find it!”
He just looked at me and smiled.
When we reached a significant distance from the school, I started to have doubts about this boy.
“Where are we going?” I asked in a very firm voice.
“The teacher is absent today and the substitute is always sleeping. So you might as well skip the class.
