tutorial #10➵vector

Start from the beginning

3) Using the colour picker dropper tool thing that you can find in the coloured square (there's a lot about this in the faceless tutorial), pick out the colours. I will be using mine as an example, so I picked out the colour of the ocean first, and coloured in the ocean with that colour.

this is the end product for the background:

you can see that it's a bit different from my example (finished) and that's because I made a big mistake and I had to do it over again

4) Here comes the hard part-the model. I used Bridget Satterlee. Open up an empty canvas (the tab furthest to the right will reveal layers, and there should be a tab there that lets you choose what kind of new layer you want). Add in the photo.

5) Now, do the same as you did for the background. Using the dropper tool, pick out the colours. I did the face first.  Also, do this on a separate later to your picture of your person.

6) When you're done with all that, add in a blank, white canvas as a layer below your person

6) When you're done with all that, add in a blank, white canvas as a layer below your person. This will help you identify places where there are gaps, and help your refine details. Also, notice how I left out the hands. This is because it's a bit hard to do such detailed drawing on Picsart.

7) Go to Phonto and add in your text

7) Go to Phonto and add in your text. My font was Menlo Bold or something like that.

8) Go to either Picsart or Superimpose

8) Go to either Picsart or Superimpose. Using my behind tutorial, put the text behind the person.

9) Now for the textures! I went back to Picsart and chose one of the stencilled textures. Here are the settings I put it to.

As you can see, I think it adds a lot of depth to the graphic

10) Add in a light texture, put it on screen and adjust the opacity.

note:
sorry once again for not posting in so long-I just had no inspiration. I hope you enjoyed the tutorial. It's a lot like my faceless tutorial, I know, but it was still so much fun to make!
