Ben-Dummy..-_-

You didn't talk to your mother for a while, a few weeks passed since then, you invited Ben and Gwen to the park and offered to buy ice cream, while strolling around.

While walking, Gwen notices you were quiet, your mind was somewhere else.. Ben didn't say a thing was enjoying his ice cream. The orange haired girl asked if you were okay, but you just gave her a smile in return saying your fine.

Since you treated your friends to ice cream, they offered to walk you home.

You made it to the front door of your house, later on, Gwen left Ben who wanted to stay behind and talk to you. He notices you were down too. "What's wrong, (nickname)?" Ben muttered his hands in his pockets. You let out a sigh. "Nothing, it just...I didn't get enough sleep..." You lied.

The brown-haired boy wore a smile on his face, glad it was nothing serious, "H...hey.." you looked up at him, arms cross, "Yeah..?" his green eyes gazed into your (e/c) eyes. From the silence, he was probably going to make fun of your height, it was taking an awfully long time for him to say something. "Uhm...Ben?"

"I forgot what I was going to say, sorry," he said, scratching back oh his head.

You chuckled, "Jeez, sometimes you can be such a....scatterbrain." "Hey!" Ben glared.

Realization washed over you, you'll move soon and you didn't even tell Gwen or Ben about it, who knows when you'll be back.

"See ya later, (Y/n)!" Ben said, as he started to walk away, "Mom's going to go nuts if I'm not back soon." "Ya..." you muttered, "Bye."

You opened the door, once you entered it, the furniture was all gone and the house was wiped clean, 'What the..'

Your mom came, packing what looks like the last of your stuff.

"Were leaving....today..?" You asked you thought it would be a week from now but...Wow....

Your mom nodded, happy that you finally talked to her. "B-but..so soon?" the older woman nodded, as she handed you a notebook, the summer journal you wrote in during your time with the Tennyson's.

A few minutes later, you were in a moving van with you mom. You sigh softly as the engine state.

"Goodbye Bellwood...Ben...Gwen...Max....Bellwood elementary  school, tree house..." You muttered as you saw some things that remind you of them.

"Don't worry, sweetie, will come back in a year or so...I think..." You mother said, hoping.

There was a sudden silence between you two until you broke it.

"Mom...can I tell you something...?" You asked she nodded, still looking at the road.

" Something weird, happened to me, during my time with the Tennyson's... this happened when I went on my first road trip while keeping the bonfire alive and everyone else was in the Rustbucket, I..may have done something stupid..." you said, scratching your cheek sheepishly.

"Go on, what happened?" the woman asked.

"I may have dropped my marshmallow/hot dog in the fire and tried getting it, and ended up having my full hand in the fire...?" you mother stared at you, as you were some kind of lunatic before going back to driving.

"Long story short, Ben, Gwen, and Max know about this and I'm fire doesn't  really burn me, I just wanted to get that off my chest, that's all."

Your mother was quite the whole ride, not really amazed, it's like she heard the story millions of time.

"Honey..?" the woman finally spoke up.

"Ya? What is it, mom?" you gave her no eye contact, you were staring at the road ahead.

"Do you know why you didn't get burn..?" you mom asked, wanted to know if you knew the actual reason.

"Nope, no idea..." you said, popping the "p" in nope.

She nodded and parked somewhere, so the both of you can continue to talk.

"This kinda has to do with your....father.," she said, nervously, fidgeting a bit.

You slowly turn your attention to you mother, you were told your father 'disappeared' when you were younger, his face was all a blur to you.

"What those the fire incident have to do with dad...?" you asked, kinda already know he was connected to this.

Your mom started driving again, "You see, your father was out of this world."

the older woman chuckled to herself, not noticing the glare she received from you.

'Not the puns mom...' You looked out the window, facepalming.
