STELLA
I woke up to my alarm blaring by my ear I groaned and rolled over to shut it off. I sat up stretching while trying to keep my blonde matted curls from falling in my mouth as I yawned.
I hopped out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror, my green eyes looking duller than usual and my crazy bed head with half of my hair tumbling right passed my ribs all knotted from falling out of the bun that the rest of my hair was tied up in- er semi tied up in. I chuckle to myself as I turn on the balls of my feet and make my way into the bathroom connected to my room to quickly brush my teeth and take a shower.
When I got out the shower I walked into my huge closet that wasn't even half way full. I skimmed the clothes looking for something first day appropriate, first impressions mean everything. Trust me I had learnt this the hard way at my other school. It doesn't help the fact that its senior year and I have to start at a new school where I knew nobody, whatever was more convenient for my dad's work I guess. With a sigh I pick out some denim ripped high waisted shorts and a dark green crop tank to make my eyes pop and a black checkered flannel pairing it with black Jordans. I look in the mirror satisfied and quickly brush my hair scrunch up my curls and throw on some mascara and lip balm.
I grab my bag and phone then jog down the stairs. "Good morning everyone!" I shout and laugh because I know I'm alone. I grab an apple and my car keys humming to myself as I walk to my car and make my way to school. I pull up to the school and find it almost impossible to park with how many cars fill up this lot, surprisingly there's a spot right at the front which I was hesitant to take because obviously there's a reason nobody has parked here. "Fuck it!" i pull into the spot killing my engine. I open my door and accidentally hit someone.
"What the fuck! Ouch!" oops. I get out and quickly apologize. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you!" I look up to see a tall guy around 6'4 towering over me with dark brown hair and icy blue eyes. The most beautiful guy I've ever seen! He had a sharp jaw line and a muscular form, he was slim with not too much bulkiness but could easily make out how muscular he was. A voice interrupted my eye rape. "You know if you take a picture it will last longer." He said with a smirk. So I did what any normal teenage girl would do, I whipped out my phone scooted back a bit and snapped a picture. "Hey wha-!" I cut him off with a smirk of my own. "Thanks for the picture! Sorry again about hitting you with my door!" I spun on my heels quickly and made my way into the school and up to the main office, so much for first impressions.
I got my schedule that I didn't get to make by the way, my father chose all my classes and only let me choose 1 of my electives. 1st period was AP lit, 2nd period was AP Bio, 3rd period was AP calculus, 4th period was lunch, 5th period was photography (the class I chose), and lastly 6th period was athletics. I looked over my schedule with a sigh I didn't have to take a history because I got all of my history credits and I had a free period which was 7th but i'd just leave early so at least there's that.
The school was huge but if you had common sense and knew how to read signs finding the right classrooms weren't hard. They had it separated by subject, each floor was a different subject with the classes ranging from easy to hard on the academic scale. The high school looked more like a college but I wasn't complaining. The first 3 periods were uneventful nobody talked to me and the teachers didn't make me introduce myself. So when lunch came around I was kind've nervous but found myself looking for a pair of icy blue eyes. I didn't see him so I made my way out the cafeteria and into the parking lot. I was halfway to my car when a teacher came running after me. "YOUNG LADY!" I turned around to see a plump short lady with so many wrinkles I couldn't tell if she was smiling or frowning. "Yes?" I asked nicely. I could see a couple of kids snickering while they ate lunch on the steps in front of the school. I rolled my eyes. "We don't have an open lunch policy! If you are caught trying to leave campus you will be punished!" I sighed and ran my hand down my face.
