The Earth is a beautiful, tiny, blue-green orb in the darkness of space. It is home to many useless, insignificant creatures. The planet itself is insignificant. Disposable. Anyhow, who is to say that in the large Solar system that there is not more of these disposable beings, or another planet where the beings, had they not wasted time in their childish space race, could have lived and not been destroyed today? Then again, who is to say that, perhaps, another universe is unfolding, just as this event is taking place.
A red eyed humanoid stares at a screen, raising a brow. He could probably warn these creatures about the destruction that would be about to take place, his cold gaze lingers on the planet, the people who scurried around like ants. Would they care? Would they even know what he was saying with their absolute primitive minds? He could already see by the expression on their face that they were not very bright, they stood stock still, shocked, like a deer in the headlights. At least they knew how to express emotion. He presses a red button on his clean white dash board, a translator, putting on a bright, fake smile.
"Hello, Earthlings, I am here to warn you about the destruction on your disgusting planet-" his words are caught in his throat.
Was that their leader? Or was it an eyeless human? No, must be a Vogon, they are eyeless, to the red eyed man's knowledge, humans are not naturally eyeless, unless, of course, it is caused by accident. But even then, they wore fake eyes, right, made of glass? A Vogonian ruler prides themselves in their eyes, or rather, lack of. So, this new found Vogon, they are perfect. They could replace, they could help. He is left to wonder how they got to this planet, and how they were able to survive such a horrible place to live.
He blinks, after a long staring contest between him and the stranded vogon, his eyes were feeling dry, he continues speaking, "I will be destroying your planet in a matter of minutes, please brace yourselves." he says as he beams the Vogon up, they are screaming, in delight he assumes. They must be ecstatic to be coming home.
The Earth will witness that in 10 minutes, however long it sounds, it is next to nothing, but in 10, no, now 9, minutes, it will seem like that time was never there, time is a concept and yet your life relies on 10 minutes. It's another insignificant thing. Time, created by humans, has no basic concept, not many aliens could understand it, and those who learn are often confused, like the English language, it is hard to learn, at least, for aliens, unlike Vogons who adapted to the languages and social constructs on Earth.
But currently, a nice group of friends was enjoying a picnic in a park. These friends wouldn't exactly be called friends. 2 of them could not speak to each other and if they did an argument would start.
But, first, who were these people?
Well, we had 1 thief, 2 scientists, and 1 and a half demonic monsters, we think.
One of the scientists was sleeping under a tree, with a novel that lay beside him, a classic, Lord of the Flies
The other scientist was eating and discussing chemical reactions that were created in his lab, for what was about nine minutes. It genuinely was a peaceful afternoon, not a cloud in the sky, so when a dark shadow looms over the park and people dared to look up their jaws dropped, there, sitting, no, hovering, in the sky, was a large, white, almost looking like a big fat oval with jets, (a UFO, perhaps?) loomed over the park. It was there for what felt like hours, but in reality was only minutes. A translucent screen appears, green static for a few seconds, the mans face appears on the screen, up close before he backs away.
"Hello, Earthlings, I am here to warn you about the destruction of your young planet- " He cut himself short, glancing to an eyeless female.
Now everyone she met was shocked to see this female. She assumed it was no different, besides from the giant hovering craft in the sky, it was normal.
The man furrows his brows, turning to the crowd.
"I will be destroying your planet in a matter of minutes, please brace yourselves."
The eyeless girl was now huddled close to her friends, in a shocking coincidence, she was the half demon and part of the group on that picnic. The sleeping scientist was now awake, for who could sleep through such an event?
Everyone is shocked, the eyeless cambion is being pulled off the ground, up to the ship, she screams for help, however, no one is quick enough to grab her.
How dare he kidnap their friend! Why her? Were they really doomed do die with their planet? How is it that she isn't going to die?
The thief lets out and angry cry, why does she get a free ride in an alien space craft? It is unfair!
The screen turns off, just after they hear her shouting in the ship.
In seconds her group of friends was brought up too, that included the 2 scientists, 1 thief, and the other demonic creature.
And in a flash of light, the once beautiful blue orb was taken place by nothing-ness.
"Welcome to the ship, can I offer you our finest flavored water?"
