so many chords but not a single sound
so silence me, if you won't mind
my head is spinning round and round
i'm afraid i might have vertigo
or a case of what they call insanity
can you cure my ailing soul
of all it's secure insecurities?
this silence is too loud
so could you turn the volume down,
oh wait, we're in a giant crowd
so i may as well disappear and drown
still, it's not that easy to win this fight
with all my demons inside my head
but, oh well, i hope things turn out alright
and if not, it's okay, i write better when i'm dead"
