nightmares

Mark woke to the noise of his lover screaming and crying in terror, knowing he had nightmares. Mark sat up and immediately turned the lights on and looks at Jack seeing him curled in a small ball next to him. " baby boy.. " Mark said softly and pulled Jack in his lap gently, Jack hiding his face in the crook of Marks neck silently crying. Mark rubs his back trying calming him down. " Shh... It's okay Angel.. I'm here.. " Mark says softly. Jack nods slowly and sniffles, Mark wiping Jacks eyes with his sleeve and wiping his nose with a tissue. Jack looks at Mark with tears in his eyes. " I-I had a dream I lost y-you and the community.. " Jack said and sniffles. Mark nods and kisses his forehead gently. " that would never happen, I promise." Mark says and looks at him. Jack nods and yawns softly. " tired Angel?" Mark asked. Jack nods and lays his head on Marks chest, Mark leaning on the wall. Jack soon falls asleep and Mark lays him down and lays next to him, Jack cuddling into Marks chest as he was sleeping. And they slept.
