Dan sat down and set up his camera. He really didn't want to do this. But it had to happen.
"Hello internet. So I guess this is it. I've decided to stop. I really enjoyed the past 15 years, but everything must come to an end. I know you all write those fics about me doing my last video and stuff, and I'm sorry to say, this might be like one or two you've read. Before I'm going to be gone for good, I wanna say a few things and get stuff off my chest." Dan raised the paper he had scribbled on while not being able to sleep. He wrote to his family and viewers, and today, Phil Lester. "To all my viewers, thank you. Since I was 18, you've all witnessed me grow up into who I am today. I love meeting all of you and I'm sorry to the people who haven't been able to afford it. Soon, the amazing tour is not on fire will become the amazing tour. Seeing that I've made some of you guys happy is all I care about. I care so much for all of you and if you ever need help, there's some hotlines and numbers you can call in the description. Just please know that someone cares about you. I do. A lot." At this point, Dan is crying softly. He knows that this isn't like danisnotonfire. But it's Dan Howell. And he wants everyone to know it is. "To all my family, I love you guys so much. Mum please take care of yourself and dad too. As well as him. And please be there for Phil too. I don't know how he's going to take what's about to happen well." Dan was tear stained and he didn't know if he should carry on with the next part. "And Philip Michael Lester. I fucking love you to bits. Ever since I laid eyes on you, I didn't want to look away. All those videos, all the phanfics, everything meant the world to me. I had the pleasure of being your boyfriend for 9 years and then came the proposal and the trips to berlin tokyo and Jamaica have been surreal. I can't believe you are mine." Full out sobbing is the only thing heard and he takes a moment to recover a little. "Phil, please listen very carefully. Just because I die, doesnt mean amazingphil does. Please go on, and live your life to the fullest. Please move on from me and have a family. I know they will be beautiful and you'll be a great dad." Dan had a few moments of silence and then he decided to call Phil and put him on speaker.
"Hello?"
"Phil im sorry but I love you. Please continue amazingphil."
"Dan what are you going to do?!"
"Please don't be concerned once you come into the flat. Im not worth your concern."
"Dan im fucking serious. Tell me right now."
"I love you Philip Michael Lester."
"DAN ARE YOU GOING TO-"
Dan hung up. He looked at the camera.
"Please hug all of your family and friends right now. I love you all. I'll be going now. I'm sorry. Please move on from danisnotonfire and Dan Howell."
Dan sighed and once again looked at the camera. He stared at it with deep sorrow.
And then he said it.
"Goodbye internet."
He uploaded the video while his phone blew up with people messaging him. Fans and friends were scared. But he knew I was better off not here.
He then drew the gun to his head.
He heard Phil unlocking the door.
"DAN DONT DO IT PLEASE I LOVE-"
And the shot was heard, as well as the sound of a body falling.
