Belarus walked down the long hallway like she did every night. She made her way to the third door on the left to her fairly big bed room. The walls were a dull purple, the paint had faded after many years. The entire room was clean since she couldn't stand something messy. It was only eight o'clock but she didn't care it was still time for bed to her. Unlike many Belarus dislikes staying up super late. She doesn't sleep much but she still enjoys her sleep. Besides she wasn't a fan of the night time anymore.
Belarus set her alarm for six in the morning and then tucked herself under her warm gray blankets. She pulled the power string that was connected to her lamp to turn it off. She buried herself under the covers when the room was completely dark. She used to like the dark but now it seemed scary to her. It seemed to swallow her whole. The fear in her opinion, was irrational. Fear was irrational. She hated being scared of anything because it made her feel weak.
Sleep did not come easy to the female nation that night. There was a thunderstorm last night and everytime she heard a tremendously loud crack coming from the sky, she woke up. Belarus was a light sleeper and was easily disturbed during the night. It was a good trait during wars but, during peace it was fairly trouble some.
By the timer the alarm went off, she only got six hours of sleep. It was enough to get her through the whole day at least.
She once again stumble down the hall in her night gown. She knew that no one else in the house had to get up for another hour so she was safe to go out without proper clothes. She started brewing a pot of coffee she makes it extra strong since she was still quite tired.
Her morning routine went on as planned. As the coffee was brewing she went bake to her room and put on a plain, long sleeve, dark navy shirt. Along with Blue Jeans. She pulled on some black socks and put a simple bow, the same color as her shirt, in her silvery blonde hair. She brushed her hair, it was long and straight. She never curled it or really tried to. She thought for a moment of what it would be like if she had curls. Belarus shook her head and dismissed her thoughts on the subject. She had no time for such things.
The blonde walked back to the kitchen and poured her self a cup of dark coffee. She grabbed her favorite green mug that had little Belarusian flags on it. She dipped it since it was still quite hot. The bitter liquid burned her throat but she didn't pay attention to it
These past days had seemed so routine. She was in Russia's house instead of her own. She was getting lonely although that was never what she admitted. Ivan was a good big brother. He was sweet even though he was quite scared if his younger sister. Belarus knew exactly why, she knew she was obsessive. Was. Recently pestering Russia seemed to be too much of a pain. She only really meant it as a sort of joke but decided it had gone on too long and she was done with it. She didn't want him to fear her. She wanted him to respect her. From experience, Belarus knows well that fear and respect are far from the same thing. They are not opposites but that are never the same.
The people in the house slowly started crawling out of their rooms. First it was Russia, then, Ukraine who recently just came to visit, then Lithuania, after that was sleepy eyes Latvia. Estonia was still probably sleeping. Belarus assumed he had stayed up too late on the internet again. 'typical. ' she thought to herself. She poured herself a bowl of oatmeal and added milk. It was bland almost like chewing cardboard. Russia didn't seem to have Andy brown sugar in the house to add to it. She thought of adding chocolate syrup to it but once again that was not in the fridge. She sigh quietly. 'I wonder if brother even has taste buds.
Russia poured himself some cereal and once shot of vodka in a shot class. She sat at the table and munched on his cereal. Then he downed his one shot. Once, he had told his little sister that one shot of hard liquor after eating helps digest food. Belarus didn't really believe that. Not that she cared either. One shot on a full stomach won't get you drunk so she didn't mind.
