I entered Edd's apartment, closing the door.
"It looks like your running from the police, Tom." Edd joked.
"Very funny."
"Hey, don't get pissy cuz I live in red demon turf." Edd shrugged.
"Whatever." I scoffed, sitting on the couch.
"Oh, hey Tom." Matt smiled, joining us and taking Edd's hand. They were a cute couple.
"Let me know if I'm a third wheel." I said, staring off at the TV.
"It's okay, Tom. You might find a guy."
"I did meet someone." I said.
"Oohhh!!" Matt exclaimed, jumping on the couch beside me.
"Do tell." Edd smirked. So I did, and they were pretty interested.
"Do you know his name?" Matt asked.
"No. I wish."
"Maybe it's better," Edd shrugged.
"Whatya mean?" I asked.
"Like Romeo and Juliet." Matt said.
"We all know I didn't pay attention in school. And I never read the play."
"And I'm pretty sure Romeo knew who Juliet was."
"Let's stop talking about English. I'll find him again, and then I'll know his name." I sighed, getting up. I hoped I would see him again.

I threw down the cigarette, stomping it out. I was at my usual spot, near the golden gate bridge. Then I realized I wasn't alone. It was the boy from before. With his brown spikey hair and odd black eyes.
"Hey." I announced my presence, he jumping a bit.
"You startled me." He said, standing beside me.
"I do that." I looked off.
"It's cool." He shrugged. After a few minutes of silence, I spoke up.
"I never seen you around here before."
"Yeah, but I just heard about this spot." He answered, sitting on a bench. I joined him, sitting on the back with my feet on the seat.
"It's pretty cool. Especially at sunset."
"I'm glad that this is shared turf." He said.
"Me too." I sighed.
"You ever wish they would stop fighting?"
"All the time." I answered, looking at the bay. But I knew it would never happen.
