But your messages are on a different tone on her phone
But every so often she glances to the door of her classroom
But she smiles every time your name is pronounced at her grey days
Yet she said

But she stayed up late to accompany you
But she cried at nights praying you'll come back
But she hoped you'll somehow appear at her front door
Yet she said
"No".
But there's stars sparkling behind her eyes when you're around
But her spirits are soaring high when you're near
But her smile seems more genuine then they've ever been
When you're here.
Yet she said
"No".
Then a little girl came by
Asked her, "why did you lie?"
With tears peeking
She answered,
"Cause I'm not his home"
