Back to the normalcy of a broken pretense,
Things begin to once again make sense,
As reality slowly but surely sets in,
And lets the loneliness begin.
My feelings were misplaced,
When I believed in her grace,
And I thought that she was near,
But i didn't even see her.
It was a lucid daydream,
That made her seem,
So pleasantly sincere,
Now I'm at a loss I fear.
My heart would pound wishing to fly,
As I awaited for her reply,
I guess she's just a tease,
But who would love you, Mister, please.
