Summer fling

I don't know what entered my dad but he decided that we should have a fancy family dinner in a fancy restaurant and according to him it's a surprise and i shouldn't tell Eadlyn,my step-mom because he wants to woo her, his words not mine.

"Braden i have secret don't tell Eadlyn" my dad said in a hushed voice. I looked up from my game of kendall and kylie. I just love it, between my PS4 and kendall and kylie i'd chose kendall and kylie. That was just a serious confession that nobody should know about.

"i got us reservations to this fancy restaurant and Eadlyn has been saying we should go out for family dinner so i want to surprise her" he looked so proud after saying that sentence, i wanted to laugh but i held it in

"Dad no one is at home,so why are you whispering" i told him. He looked at me blinked then starting talking like a normal human being " i can't wait to see her face. don't worry you'll understand when you find true love "

"i'm just 14 "

"so love doesn't classify". i used to think my dad acted a little below his age when i saw him using the animal filters on snapchat without my sister and i always let it slide when i see him with June (my half sister) and now he is talking like hopeless romantic.

"anyways we are leaving for the restaurant by 6:30 dress fancy. don't fall my hand" he said walking out of my room

It was six so i got ready. i had a shower then wore a blue buttoned up shirt and some black jeans with my vans . i looked at the time it was already 6:25. I grabbed my phone and went downstair to the living room. June was watching tv she didn't notice when i came in. I kept quiet and continued to play my game of Kendall and kylie .
" are you guys ready. It's time to go" dad said entering the room with Eadlyn. Eadlyn is  very beautiful with her blonde hair and emerald eyes, I didn't blame my dad for marrying her . She's nice and I consider her as my mom.
"Yep" I replied while June just nodded.
We left the house. My dad turned on the radio and my house by flo rida started playing then my dad started singing along loudly sometimes I just wonder
The ride to the restaurant was not long but it was annoying because every pop song out there my dad knew it and when out of the woods by Taylor swift started playing he decided to cry and Eadlyn consoled him saying that Taylor and Harry's relationship didn't last and all good relationships come to an end.
The restaurant was quite fancy with the nice interior decorating and the classical music playing through the speakers.
We took our seats then a waitress came with the menu and I couldn't help but stare at her because she was so nice looking at that moment with her brown hair in a messy ponytail and her blue eyes shining but I knew that I was too young her. I was brought out of my thoughts when my dad asked " what would you like braden ?"
" whatever you're having "
"Ok it's settled......." I lost my focus on what my dad was saying when I saw this girl. Her  hair was nothing you would expect me to say ; it was black braids but white braids at the end . Her light brown complexion fitted with the light green dress she wore. Her legs were ........
I think I stared at this girl until the food arrived and when she turns her head to my direction I look  away.
I finished my meal then the manager of the restaurant announced the couples dance and I looked my parents they smiled at me . Creepy
" braden don't think I didn't notice that girl you were staring at, go and ask her to dance" Eadlyn said. Am I that obvious?

I sighed then I stood up and went to the girl's table. I can't  believe I'm doing this . My palms were sweating as I reached her table she was more beautiful closer  and she had a large family. They were 10 people on the table and they all looked at me until this lady that looked like the girl spoke up
" hi"
" hey, I was wondering if I could dance with your daughter "
" sure which one " I nervously pointed at the girl. Her face was so surprised. " okay" the girl said and stood up. I took her hand and lead her to the dance floor . Her hands were around my neck and my hands on her waist . I looked at her expecting to see beautiful brown eyes but I saw black and it had blue and grey circles around it. She was beautiful we were swaying in silence until she broke it " why'd you chose me ? Didn't you see my sisters or my family friends?" She had this accent but I liked it. She looked at me with curious eyes. I simply told her " I only saw you. You are beautiful, what's your name. Mine is Braden " She bent her head down "Alexandra but call me Alex" " I will call you xandra " " I like it " she put head on my shoulder and we swayed in peaceful sound until were interrupted by June " Braden mommy said its time to go " I felt sad I was leaving her at least we still have phones " can I have your number " I asked her " I don't live here , I'm on vacation so i don't have an American number yet" I deflated at that news then I remembered Skype " ok do you have Skype" "yes it's sprinkleme33" she laughed at her username "mine is dancer4life34" I told her. She wanted say something  but she just hugged me , told me bye and left. I took June's hand and went back to my parents.
"How was it?" Eadlyn asked
"Nice. Really nice "
