After so many years and after so many wars, you forget about all the pain it gives you. You learn to live with it. You don't feel the pain after your parents died during the birth of you and your brother. Pain ceased it's existence. Now, there is no coping mechanism, only the thought to have everyone as a whole again without divisions or different people groups. I believe that's why we are born different from each other, because we are all similar in one way or another.
