"Harry! Ron!" Hermione screeched, as she ran towards the two boys struggling with their luggage as they got off the train. Hermione crashed into Ron and Harry with a hug.
"Calm down, Hermione, the final day of Hogwarts was only 2 weeks ago." Ron said.
Hermione giggled while picking up Scabbers and returning him to Ron.
"You really should train him, Ron" Hermione suggested.
Ron looked at Harry with shock. "Is she serious? How am I supposed to train a hand-me-down rat!?"
"C'mon guys, we're only here 5 minutes and you's are already fighting" Harry laughed.
Hermione giggled and made her way to her parents car.
"She started it" Ron muttered to Harry.
Harry and Ron spent the drive home listening to Mr and Mrs. Granger telling them stories of when Hermione was small, while Hermione sat embarrassed to the maximum with cheeks as red as the sunset creeping below the city. Ron was bursting with laughter the whole time and Harry has only been gigging until Mr. Granger finished one of his stories with, "She came back into the house with nothing but a diaper on her! Holding the cookie innocently!"
When they reached the house, Hermione gave the boys a quick tour, Ron still laughing occasionally while he remembered the stories about Hermione. Harry and Ron would share a room that was next door to Hermione's book-filled room. They had just finished dinner, delicious bangers and mash.
Harry, Ron and Hermione went to bed with full stomachs and fell right to sleep.
A busy street full of rushing muggles, lined with shops appeared in Harry's mind while he was sleeping. He was by himself but he recognised the streets from the drive home from the train station earlier that day. Harry was rushing through the people when he bumped into a girl. Harry quickly turned around to apologise but all he seen was the glow of the beautiful, long Autumn hair running away through the crowds... Harry noticed something fall from her bag as she ran so he quickly went to retrieve it, she had lost her book. It was turned upside down but he was curious to see what this beautiful girl was reading so he picked it up, but as soon as he touched it he woke up with a start.
Too tired to stay awake, he doused off without realising.
He woke up the next morning not having any memory of the dream at all...
