"Can she please be quiet. I don't want to be in here anyways," Jessica said as she fell asleep.
"Same here," Melissa said, even though Jessica was already asleep. The class was so long and boring. Nobody paid attention. Everybody was either texting, playing games, or sleep.
40 minutes later the bell rang, and everybody rushed to get out. That's how fun math is. They weren't even listening to the last thing Mrs. Williams was trying to tell them.
"There is no homework, but there will be some on tomorrow. Class dismissed!!!!"
"Thank God I'm out of there that teacher was so annoying," Melissa said.
"Yeah she was with that annoying voice of hers nagging and shit," Jessica said
Melissa laughed, "You right, but you were sleeping the whole time. Time for the next class, drama, which should be fun."
Classes went by for the rest of the day, and it was time for lunch. Jessica and Melissa walked in and looked around at all the people cramming into tables, hugging their friends, and eating. They were looking for Gabby, but then they spotted her waving her hand like a mad woman. They laughed and walked over to her table.
"Me and Marcus only have 3 classes together," she said pouting. Melissa found herself rolling her eyes. It wasn't like it was the end of the world just because they didn't have all their classes together.
"It's ok Hun you see each other all the time and plus y'all live near each other trust me you good." Jessica said, comforting Gabby.
"I'm going to get some more fries," Melissa said, getting up from the table. She needed some escape from that conversation.
"Ok."
As Melissa was walking to the line she bumped into someone. The person was taller than her, and stronger.
"Watch where you going," some unknown guy said to her.
"Ok my bad," she knew it was her fault, no need to pop off, even though he did say it rudely.
The guy stared at her for a minute and then said, "Hi, my name's Michael."
"My name is Melissa."
"Well you fine ma. Let me get that number."
"No, you're not my type and plus I like girls, so bye."
"That's cool I like girls too," he said, smiling a bit to hard.
"Whatever, bye."
She got her fries and headed back to her table. She saw Gabby and Jessica looking at her like where you been.
"What took you so long to get some fries," Gabby said, while eating her pizza.
"Nothing some dude trying to get my number."
"What was his name and was cute," Jessica as she shook her best friend rapidly.
"Um yeah he was cute, but too cocky for me so he didn't get the number."
"Oh he will come back if he really wants it," Gabby said.
Yeah whatever, Melissa thought. They were always trying to hook her up. She was focused on school; she did not have time to play with niggas. She wasn't about that life.
Lunch ended and they only had two more periods left.
Trey's POV
Treamaine Neverson was waiting in the gym for the next and last class to arrive. He was a PE teacher at Langston Hughes High School. His life was okay and he got paid well for a teacher. That wasn't always the case. Before his raise, he was considering taking on a second job. Not that he told his girlfr-ex girlfriend. He had a nice life. He loved to sing, but he knew that couldn't happen. He loved his job. He was more than a teacher. He was a mentor to the kids, a friend if they needed one, and last but not least a coach.
He'd been working at this school for about 3 years. He was the only male teacher that worked there so of course women threw themselves at him, even female students. But he wasn't there for that he was there for his job and that's it.
He had been working for 6 whole periods and high school students were no joke. He was tired as fuck and he wanted to go home, but he had one more period.
The class walked into the gym. They all looked excited for gym class. Guys were running, girls were laughing and some looked like they did not want to be there. Then some stragglers came in. In that group he saw this beautiful girl, but he couldn't really see her face.
She was talking with a girl and then she started laughing. She was gorgeous.
She was about 5'9 with long black hair. Her light brown skin looked smooth and stood out. Trey wanted to know more about her, who she was, what she did.
"Who is that girl," he whispered.
