This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents either are products of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events or locales or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental.

Just for a quick note, this story was originally written in 2013 as a draft for a visual novel game. The storyline was altered with some Philippine Myth called "Haliya and the Bakunawa" or more popularly known as the legend of eclipse in the Philippines.

A/N pt. 1: Also, reminders. This is only loosely based on the myth. I have mixed lots of pre-colonial Philippines elements in the story plus names are made up so do take note that this is not an EXACT re-telling of the myths but rather was only based. I hope this story can be exciting and interesting to read as it features my very own culture.

A/N pt. 2: I would like to apologize if there may be possible inconsistencies with terms, but I am doing my best to correct or at least make it as close to authentic as possible. (Example of inconsistencies would be the usage of titles such as Gat and Dayang [titles are tagalog] and yet the story is based on a Bicolano myth; location of where the story takes place is not mentioned, and probably would never be.)

The storyline itself has become my very own interpretation of the myth and has been altered. I recommend you, my dear reader, to also read about the myths itself to know my basis of this fantasy-epic novel.

A/N pt. 3: I will either maintain the usage of english words or edit terms as I go along researching about 1500-1600 era of the precolonial Philippines.
