I stood at the entrance to the Titans tower. I blasted my music from my headphones.

Starfire put her hand on my shoulder. I glanced up at her and paused my music.

"I wouldn't bug her, she's in one of her moods." Jaime said.

"What are we waiting for anyway?" I asked.

"Our new team member, Robin." Starfire explained.

I pressed play on my music again.

Beast Boy pulled my headphones out. "Do you think you can turn down your screamo?"

A car pulled up. I got up and walked in the doors.

"Kayla, the new member." Starfire pleaded.

"To hell with him." I walked with my trench coat flowing behind me.

I went into the training room and turned on the simulator. Fake demons popped up around me. I smirked and threw off my trench coat. I opened a portal and pulled out a katana.

I took out demon after demon. I dropped my sword and sent out a power surge, making all of the demons vanish. I picked my sword back up and more appeared. I swung taking out all of my anger. I hit something metallic. I looked to see a boy with black hair with a sword. He had blocked my swing.

I walked over and paused the simulator. "Did you need something?"

"Mind if I join?" He asked.

"Why?" I questioned.

"I was sent here so I could learn to work with a team, working together is apparently not a strong point of mine." He explained.

"Well you're talking to the wrong person." I picked up my trench coat. "You want to learn about teamwork talk to Miss Starry eyes. Not to me." I put on my coat and walked out.
