I Am Lost: Prologue
“There is no such thing as a "broken family." Family is family, and is not determined by marriage certificates, divorce papers, and adoption documents. Families are made in the heart. The only time family becomes null is when those ties in the heart are cut. If you cut those ties, those people are not your family. If you make those ties, those people are your family. And if you hate those ties, those people will still be your family because whatever you hate will always be with you.”
I Am Lost: Chapter 1
“Mama! Papa! ‘wag nap o kayong mag-away *sobs* please?” I said. I was begging for a million times already inof my parents. My mom was crying really hard and my father was already shaking because of anger. I look at them. My father starts to speak but I can’t hear his voice. I shook my head still crying hard. “Ma! Pa! Please!” I said to them. I was about to grab his legs when.. “Go to your room Thea” my grandma said.
“What’s happening here, Challice?” I heard my grandma said.I heard things that being crash, broken glasses or mirrors and also how my mom and grandama shout. I don’t know anymore. My thoughts were just full of random things about me going to dump by my own parents “Who do you think you are to do this?” my grandma once again said. She’s so angry based on the tone of her voice. I want to know what’s really happening but I can’t. I’m so scared.“Don’t mind our business old hag” My father said. After those words my mother’s sobs were I can hea.r “Lumayas ka dito!
“Hey! Channie! Chanie? You still there?” I saw Yankumi’s hand waving left and right in front of my face. I blink once, twice and said “Yeah! I’m ok” they look relief. Trisha talks back. Oh my! Here we go again.”Stop it girls.
When I got back I saw them laughing again. Hay! My friends were crazy. “Popcorn oh!” sabi ko. “O dali, dali! Anon g papanoorin natin?” Yannie asks.Bigla naman nagkaroon ng dead air. Naghihintayan kami kung sino ang unang sasagot. “Diary ng Panget/Bride for Rent/Bakit hindi ka Crus ng Crush mo?” we said in unison. Nagkatinginan ulit kaming tatlo sabay “Let’s go shopping na lang” sabay sabay ulit naming sinabi. Para talaga kaming may Bluetooth.
Yankumi Yamamoto and Trisha Norte we’re friends since birth. Whenever they say good grades, we need to be on top.
Nakamaong shorts ako and polka dots shoes.
Pagkalabas ko saktong labas din ni Yannie. She’s wearing white spaghetti top then shorts with matching white high heels. Lumabas na din si Trisha. Err! Bakit ganito suot nito? She’s wearing a sleeveless top, a black and white polka dots skirt, stockings na black then black heel. Wait! I almost forgot about the black bracelets.
