Dear Victim,
To my great relief,
That I'll never show,
You came to school today.
The look of surprise,
And disbelief,
On your face,
Scared me.
But the relief,
And... Happiness,
That softened
Your tense stance and hard eyes,
Made my day ten times better.
It was almost enough,
To make me forget,
That your eyes had bags,
Badly covered by,
An increased amount of makeup.
And your long,
Beautiful hair,
Cut short to your head,
Revealing the scars,
Now on your neck.
But thank everything,
Available to thank in this world,
You're still alive.
