Chapter 1 | New Neighbors

          It had been a few weeks since you moved into your new house. Still unpacking your bags, still working at your boring job to afford furniture, still fixing up the place. It started to get annoying after a while. Not to mention, your neighbors always made loud noises and racket throughout the day. Last week, they busted a wall down with a sofa. Yesterday, they had a plane crash in their backyard. Just this morning, they flooded their front lawn with cola. It was time to have a chat with them, so you walked over and knocked on their door.

          "What do you want..." A man with a blue hoodie and no eyes answered the door. You wanted to question his eyes but you didn't want to be rude. "Well, I just moved in a few weeks ago. It seems like you and your housemates or whoever they are haven't noticed yet?... You see, you're causing a lot of noise and it's hard for me to-" Mid sentence you were stopped by: "TOM WATCH OUT!!" Leaning over to see what's going on, the man... Most likely "Tom"... Was hit in the back of the head with a cola can... and fell face first... into the sidewalk... in front of the door... "Wrong person, sorry!" You heard from the distance. They were having some sort of pillow fight... With cola cans?... Ugh, when will this ever end. They're adults, they should get a job and stop acting like little kids in a barn.

"Oh... Are you ok?..." You stared at Tom waiting for a response. "Yeah..." He mumbled. "Well, seems like you're not part of this mess..." He looked up at you with his... eyes?... "Yeah..." You reached out an arm to help him up. A short silence passed. "Yeah..." He stood still trying not to be annoyed at his screaming housemates. Breaking the second silence, "Stop saying yeah!" you laughed out. He smiled trying not to laugh. "Yeah....." "Stop. It's annoying!" "You're annoying!" He threw a cola can at you. "Hah, I guess I am... But do you know who's more annoy-" "US?!" You heard two joyful voices from inside their house before being hit with another can. Throwing cans at each other, a ginger, and a guy in a green hoodie made their way outside to join you and Tom. Maybe you should take a break from your home and hang out with these guys?... "Yeah... You guys ARE annoying" Tom said sarcastically after throwing another can at you. "I said stop Tom!" Trying to throw another can, you tripped and fell on top of him.
