Dear readers,

*hides behind a steel shield* Please don't kill me. Haha, kidding!

First off, I would like to say thanks again to everyone who took the time to read Tenth when it was first published during #AMACon2016 and now that I am publishing it under the book Back and Forth. Thank you again to Kat and Neo for spearheading the initiative and like I always say, I'm honored to have been part of it. Thank you also Trina for trusting me with your lovely prompt, and I hope that I have given it justice.

Thank you to those who commented and tweeted me, even if it seems like a lot of you were hurt and sad after reading. I'm sorry (not sorry) about that, and I hope that One Last Time kind of made you feel just a little bit better (maybe not?).

I'm more used to writing fluff, so it always scares me to share something that's not fluff. I'm always worried that I won't be able to write it in a way that will hurt, that it won't have the effect that I envisioned or desired.

Well, in general, there's always that irrational fear of putting out something that I put in my heart and soul to.

So thank you, thank you for your comments. It means a whole lot to me when you say that you got sad or you're pissed at me because of how I wrote the story out. It warms my heart to know that maybe, I'm doing something right with my writing.

Thank you also to friends who have been patient with me, and were very encouraging especially in times when I doubted myself too much and wanted to burn every draft I had written (the final output was the 5th one I wrote). You know who you are, and I will forever be grateful that I have found true friends in this crazy fandom.

So as a little gift, and a way to make up for the tears and heartache Tenth and One Last Time have caused, I will be publishing all 10 correspondences between Commander Richard and Nicomaine after this love letter. I've always been fascinated with letters and I thought it might be a good idea to let you in on how exactly they both fell in love, even during the war.

So again, thank you, thank you, thank you.
