Toriel

The bell on the wall rang loudly. The rowdy bunch of students didn't hesitate to rush out of the small and cramped classroom. Painings of snails were decorating the white walls. Frisk stayed as usual, waiting for her mother to put away her pens and cases into her little storage box. Frisk threw on her backpack and shouted:
-Mom, are you coming?
-I'm afraid you will have to wait a little bit, my child. I have a very important meeting I have to attend to. If you get tired of waiting, you may go home by yourself, said Toriel with a bit of stress in her voice.
-Okay then.. seeya, mom.. Frisk said with dissapointment.
Just as she was about to walk out of the room, Toriel said:
-It wont be long, my child. Meanwhile, why don't you grab a book in the school library?
Frisk liked that idea.
-Oh, yeah! Frisk's face was shining with joy. I'll go do that now!
Before she left the room, she gave Toriel a thumbs up. Then she shut the door.
-Ha ha.. what a silly child.. Toriel smiled.
She sat down at her desk, putting her arms on her legs. She looked out the window. Monsters and kids were playing around and dancing together.
That sight filled Toriel with great nostalgia. Back to when she lived in the ruins, deep underground and cut out of society. She always dreamt of opening a school which both monsters and humans came to. Suddenly, tears welled up in her eyes. Toriel slowly wiped her away with her robe sleeve.
-Oh, dear. I hope my little child doesn't get into trouble..
