Summer was coming to a close end and I couldn't wait to be back home with all my other friends to only spend the last two weeks of summer home and with friends. If you even ask me about Jordan or Ash, I wouldn't know what to day because they've been in the clear avoiding me ever since our little incidents with each other well I guess it ends here then?
"If you don't mind your friend came by" Dad looked at me, Priss, and Gwen
I looked at all of them because if it were Ashton I would die.
"Oh no" I paused taking a big gulp
"Not Ashton or Jordan" Priss whispered
This was quite interesting. If it isn't Jordan or Ashton who else could it be? I wouldn't happen to know anyone else here, I'm basically a lone wolf. Then it walked out of the hall way, dressed in a tank top and jean shorts folded once, white vans and some sunglasses to top it off, I freaked and went for a hug- Lucas.
"Luke what are you doing here oh my god" I looked up touching his perfectly toned biceps
Lucas and I are great friends, knew the kid ever since I was three he's my best friend who I love so much for coming by with such great timing too!
"Wanted to come by see the beach for myself see if it had changed a bit ever since" He gave me a smile that would kill the ladies
"Well? What did you think?" I asked stepping back because I was tired of looking up, he's a little way too tall for me
"Haven't seen it" He shook
"You two head off, be careful" Dad shooed us away
I took Lucas on a grand tour of the beach we grew up on as little kids. Ever since then the boardwalk looked almost the same, stores changed, food never did so thank you because I liked it. We walked along side of each other telling stories about our summer, how good and how bad it was I told him every bit from the disrespectful welcoming to the disrespectful not checking up on me part. He laughed at me thinking I was insane when we got to the part about the dock, maybe yeah I was
"See, the diner still stands" I whispered as Lucas put an arm around my neck give me a rub on my head with his knuckles
"Lucas!" I rose my voice patting his hand off of me
Everyone's eyes glued to us
"Lucas Finch how good to see you!" Mrs. Overfelt gave a friendly wave to Lucas
"Hey there Mrs. Overfelt" He greeted in return
Luke whispered "Is that kid with the black volcom shirt Ashton and the kid with sunglasses is Jordan"
I nodded with a smile as I walked us over to the same booth we would always sit in every summer until one day it just kind of stopped. We ordered our breakfast, I got the breakfast of winners and Lucas got the breakfast burger, same diner, same orders, same people. The greatest vibe I've been all week long
"The two keep eyeing you and that Ashton kid is mugging me, what is this Kay? Two brothers go head to head for you, that's new" He finished taking a sip of the orange juice
I breathed turning around "I can feel you guys looking, look somewhere else"
The day came to an end and it was an amazing day with Lucas but he had to go back, I guess I'll see him soon!
It was only me and Priss at home with two of her friends over while Gwen and dad are off on a date that I insisted they take, the two never had even have time for each other anymore. For us it was a girls night, I hope they know what this means.
"The pizza should be here any time" I spoke looking at the watch on the wall
"And there it is" I assumed coming from the knock on the door
I opened it and I just want to punch him right in the face with all my force but instead I gave an awkward smile "Ashton"
"I just wanted to come say hey, and I'm sorry the other time. Just wanted to say sorry so you won't be holding a grudge and all, saw you earlier with that dude- Lucas?" He spoke awfully fast for a guy who never gets nervous
"Uh yeah Luke, best friend. Well I'll take that apology, I won't take things to heart since I'll be leaving tomorrow morning- I'll be back home" I gave a slight nod
"summer's over huh" His hands in his pockets like Jordan, where is Jordan?
"Pizza" Priss cut in the moment, thank you sis
"See you inside" Priss ran in as soon as she paid the pizza man
"I should go" Ash headed out and gave me a wave
As I watched him walk away I waited for Jordan to come out the light post or something but nothing, no one came out it really was just Ash.
