~Your PoV~
It was a normal day in your house...ahem...mansion, staying silent, reading books, and being emotionless.You let out a voiceless sigh, signaling your boredom. You slowly stood up from your bed, placed your book on your shelf and went outside to your balcony. See, you live with a wealthy 'family'. With 5 siblings who all left the household and succeeded with their works, while your Mom is a well-known Scientist, and your Dad is a successful business owner. And as of now you, your maids, servants, and chefs are the only ones in the household doing normal stuff.

'Mother? Father? Where are you? You said you'll be back on Wednesday... Guess you really don't care for me after all.'
You thought while looking at the night sky. Before they left though; they gave you a weird-shaped pendant with a vibrant red gem.

~Flashback~
Your father just placed the pendant on your neck, like a normal necklace. However, something felt....unusual. It was a miracle you were able to hear, like a normal being, but it still felt a little....odd.

Y-You
M-Mother
F-Father

M- There, can you hear us dear?

Y- *nod*

F- Can you try to speak then?

Y- (you slowly opened your mouth to talk) I mean I'll try, but I don't think I'll be able to speak very well, since I haven't said anything in 13 years. (you quickly covered your mouth in surprise and shock.)

F- Well then it seems that you can speak fairly well.... (your Father started to look sorrowful at you)

Y- What's wrong Father?

M- See, dear, that pendant holds tremendously dangerous power. So you have to be careful.

Y- Of course Mother. But may I mind asking, where did you get this anyway?

M- Well I am a well-known Scientist dear, and my team and co-workers helped me make that. As soon as they knew that you were mute and deaf.

Y- How long did it take?

M- It took 3 months, and 4 days to be exact. Anyways dear, we're sorry, but we have to go now, or else we'll be late for our flight. We'll be back on Wednesday. And before we forget, you'll be transferring out from Occult and into Raimon, got that?

Y- Yes Mother, Father. Please be safe on your trip. Bye

M&F- Yes, we'll be safe on our trip. Be a good girl and prepare for your transferring. Bye

Y- I'll prepare immediately.

And with that they said goodbye, grabbed their bags, and left your room. You slowly took off your pendant and placed in on your bedside desk. You fixed your belongings as said. You got ready for bed and drifted off to sleep.
