I used to live alone before I knew you.

Prologue.

Louis hadn't self-confidence, at all.

 He thought everything about himself was wrong, or fucked up. 

Starting from his dead blue eyes, his –always- messy hair and his too big hips and thighs, finishing with his weakness, his tendency to always keep people away from his life.

 If someone looked at him, his head would for sure face the floor, trying to keep any possibly eye contact far from happening. 

He was- he just was like that. Since he was a child, since his mother passed away when he only was thirteen, since his father left him, because he is a fucking faggot.

And he was okay with that, really, since he used to think that he deserved what life gave him. 

So, he would walk to school every day, trying to not let his pieces fall apart and trying to hold them all together. 

He would sit at his desk, trying to not cry because of what his schoolmates always told him. Freak, slag, knob. 

And, also, he always hated the word 'classmate', he didn't like to call them like that. 

Why the hell would someone who's your mate, dare to treat you like that? 

Aren't mates supposed to support each other? 

He didn't know.

 He still doesn't.

 But, sometimes life gives you something to light your hope up, even if it doesn't last much.

 And Louis' one is revealed to be named Harry Edward Styles. 

A curly mess, goofy as hell, with a pair of dimples that were constantly showing up every time he was near to the blue eyed boy. 

It happens that they fall in love, as the most beautiful fairy-tales that has ever been written. 

But, maybe, not all the fairy-tales are destined to a right end.
