Kaye: You do understand that this is another deal, another contract, right, Mr. Ramirez?

Mr. Ramirez: Yes, Kaye, I understand. But can we have the same terms as the previous contract?

Kaye: Of course. In fact, i already have the copy of the contract here. If you want, you can sign it now. (sabay abot ng isang folder dito)

Mr. Ramirez: (pumirma saka nglabas ng checkbook) Here's my initial payment.

Kasalukuyan silang nsa VIP room ng The Alpha. Four hours ago tinawagan sya ni Mr. Ramirez para makipag-usap tungkol sa kinansela nitong deal.

Kaye: (tinanggap ang tseke) So, when shall I fetch my assignment, sir?

Napanganga sina Carlo at Boni nang tanggapin ni Kaye ang paunang bayad ng kliyente nya.

Boni: (pabulong) Carlo, please tell me that that is not another 90 thousand pesos.

Carlo: (pabulong din) Im afraid it is. Tanggapin mo na lang na nilampaso nya sa sahig ng The Alpha ang record mo, buddy.. (tinapik tapik sa likod si Boni)

Napalingon sina Kaye at ang kliyente nya sa gawi nila Carlo at Boni nang marinig na ngbubulungan ang mga ito. Bigla namang nanahimik ang mga iyon at saka ngumiti kina Kaye.

Mr. Ramirez: Ahhmm, may isa pang problema.

Kaye: And that is..?

Mr. Ramirez: Nawawala si Mika.

Carlo & Boni: What?!

Mr. Ramirez: When the two dogs regained their consciousness, I immediately called Mika. Then I went to my office to call our veterinarian. Pagbalik ko sa living room they're already gone. I looked all over the house and even called her friends, walang nakakaalam kung nasaan sya.

Kaye: (kinuha ang laptop at saka ikinabit sa projector) Don't worry, we'll find her. (Nag-type) There she is, somewhere in Makati.

Nakatitig ang tatlo sa screen kung saan nakikita ang mapa ng Pilipinas. A single green dot is blinking in the part of the map where Makati City is. That is the marker.

Kaye: (zinoom in ang mapa) Bingo! We're going to Dusit Thani.

Carlo: (nakatitig pa rin sa screen) You used a tracker. Nice move.

Boni: How? When? (Naguguluhan) I mean, I never saw you put one on her.

Kaye: (may nilabas sa bulsa na manipis na leather strip) This is a tracker at hindi ito ang ginamit ko. I never had a chance to put this on her so, i use this instead (may nilabas ulit mula sa bulsa)

Mr. Ramirez: It looks like a Stick-on Insect Repelant.

Kaye: Yes it does. I call it the Retriever. It works the way a tracker does but it is way much cooler. All you have to do is to stick it on your subject's clothes and... (dinikit sa damit ang retriever na hawak. Agad na nag-iba ang kulay noon) Camouflage. Hindi mahahalata na my nakadikit sa damit mo. Unless of course kung papasadahan mo ng hawak ang parte na nadikitan nito.

Carlo: So may bago palang invention ang Techno team. How come hindi nakarating sa ibang GODs yun? (Nakatingin sa mapa na ngayon ay may dalawa nang markers.)

Boni: I still dont remember kung kelan mo nalagyan si Mika nyan..

Kaye: Remember the time when I pushed her on the couch? (Smirked then faced Carlo) This is not one of the Techno's, I invented this.
