the sunlight slowly dimmed out as it left the horizon to start a new day somewhere else. taehyung sat at the roof of his house with two earplugs in his ears, classical music floating into his ears. he was calm, still.

"i like you, tae"

she had spoken those three words with his nickname as the ending. he hadn't uttered a word. he was flustered and caught off guard. not one girl had ever spoke such words to him before, he himself had said them once but with someone else's name as the ending.

"i like you, jae"

she had smiled as he had let the words escape his lips while he was tearing himself apart from the fear of her reply.

"then let's date"

that was the happiest day of taehyung's life.

but now he was unsure of what he should say, cause he wasn't her and the girl who had spoken these fair words to him was the most beautiful girl in his school.

he was scared of what jae would think.
