Friends: Joey and Rachel (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 3: Getting Ready

Authors note: Rachel and Joey are having twins one boy and one girl. They decided to name the boy Kayden Zack Tribbiani and the girl would be named Annabelle Jane Tribbiani. No else knows except for chandler and Rachel's mom. The babies are due December 17. Monica is out of town for work. Rachel and Joey have not told Chandler and Rachel's mom what they're going to name the babies

Six months and three days pregnant:

It was mid morning . Today they would be doing some shopping, painting and rearranging the furniture. They had already ordered the cribs and it would be coming today. They had already sold the Rachel's bed. They had decided that the new sleeping arrangements would be Emma sleeping in the family room and the twins sleeping in the bedroom but when the kids got older they would have one single twin bed and a set of bunk beds, Rachel and Joey would be sharing a bed. They had already transferred Emma's clothing into a small dresser that they had bought for their bedroom to put Emma's things in and they had left the change table in the other bedroom.

"Come on Joey we're meeting Chandler to go shopping for paint and baby things." Rachel shouted from the front door

"Coming." said Joey coming out of his bedroom holding Emma

They then got ready and dropped by across the hall to get Chandler before dropping off at Ross's. They would have dropped Emma at Monica's or Pheobe's but Pheobe was working and Monica was at a four day conference in Texas.

The first store they stopped at was the painting store.

"Okay so we need to get painting tape, rollers, trays, paint brushes, work masks, work gloves and the paint." said Joey

They got a cart and went down the painting aisle.

"Do you guys know what colour of paint you want?" asked Chandler

"Yes we were thinking a cream colour for the walls and a light tan colour for the base boards." said Rachel

"I'll get the paint and you help Chandler get the other things, how many cans do we need?" said Joey

"About three to four for each colour ." said Chandler

Joey got four cans of paint while Chandler and Rachel got the other things.

Half an hour later they had paid and were back in the car.

They had just shut the door when there was a knock.Rachel opened the door while Chandler and Joey started to move things around. When she opened the door two men were standing there.

"Hello we have two cribs for Rachel Green." said Man one

"Yes that's me." said Rachel

"Okay well where would you like them?" asked Man two

"My boyfriend and his friend will set it up later but for right now put it in that room." said Rachel pointing to the room on the left

The two men had just picked up the crib and started to move the crib when Joey and Chandler came out of Emma and Rachel's room carrying the change table and the delivery people came out.

"Who are those people?" asked Joey

"Oh they're bringing the cribs in." said Rachel gesturing to the two men carrying in the next crib

"Ah I see." said Joey

After they had paid the men Chandler and Joey continued to move the furniture.
