I looked out my window, skies of blue and white. So, why not go to the pool bar across the street from my hotel?
So that's what I did.
Nobody was really there, so I snuck behind the drink shack, and made me a smoothe.
It had special steps, which I couldn't do at all.
"Need help?" A kid said.
Then I realised.. It was the Merman. He must of not reconized me yet.
"Umm... No." I said, looking down at my fingers.
"Sure?"
"100%" I muttered.
He then was starting to walk away.
"Hey! Come back!"
He ran towards me, I could see his six-pack.
"What?"
"Hey, I know your a mermaid. Don't worry I won't tell anyone." I whispered.
"A merman actually. And you better. OH your that girl... Sorry I was being rude earlier." He chuckled.
'It's fine." I mermered.
"Can we talk somewhere else, because my scales are burning up.."
He asked terrified.
"Sure, meet me at my hotel across the street," I suggested.
***
I ran back to the hotel, and took a seat next to him.
"I never really caught your name.." He said, biting his lip.
"Rachel. Yours?"
"Austin."
"Hey are you single?" I asked, by accident. But I really wanted to know.
"Yes. Why?" He smirked.
"Um... No reason.." I lied.
"I know I just met you, but I was wondering if you would like to come with me to the beach tomorrow?" He asked, with a pouty face. I couldn't say no.
"Sure,"
"Ok thanks, your a lifesaver. I'll pick you up tomorrow afternoon." He shouted, twisting the doornob.
"Ok. See you tomorrow then!"
***
I raced up to my room, jumping up and down. I think I was to excited.
"Rachel, don't fall for him!"
"Girl, don't tell me you be fallin for a boy?"
Was it his smile?
His Eyes?
His personality?
I don't know for sure, but I think I may have feelings for him. Oh no.
