don't fade

it's okay to get lost in your own aesthetic

it's okay to get lost in your own poetic words

it's okay to get lost in your own world you've created

it's okay to sulk in your own daunting sadness

but you mustn't overdo it. stop overdoing it. you're fading from the real world and it's ruining your life. you were doing so well on your schoolwork and now because you've been sulking about and using your depression as your own mental scapegoat for evading your goals, you're getting behind and you're going to wind up disappointing your mom, your friends, your teacher, and most importantly, yourself.

stop doing this. stop letting your sadness get the best of you. in words you might understand, stop trying to hide in the world you've created. you need to be solid on earth, like jaylin. stop being inanis. be jaylin. she's solid with her feet on the ground in understanding and she's afraid just like you, but she's here and she's real and she's getting things done.

please, emily, don't fade out.
