Chapter 2

Niall's POV

Simon said that I can't adopt a kid.

Why not? I'm almost 20 years old, I have enough room for a kid. Plus I want one so bad I almost quit because Simon didn't let me. but Simon said I can a adopt a child as long as it's not a child, but a teenager. Works for me.

But all that was 5 minutes ago.

He left to talk to the orphanage to arrange something for us. Like an appointment but not.

I guess.

Everybody is walking in now.

"Boys if you really want to adopt a kid go for it. But you have to adopt a14 or 15 year old girl."

"Awe" the other boys sighed. They want a boy. I want a girl. This is perfect.

"But we will have to deal with her...womanly problems" Zayn shivered.

I didn't really think of that.

"Oh look the limo is here to pick you up! Bye boys!" Simon yelled.

Right now it's surreal.

Even somewhat more surreal then being in a world famous boy band.

Weird, I know.

Before anything we arrived at the Doncaster Orphanage of Girls.

Huh.

This place is a dump.

As soon as we walked in a girl was singing loudly. It was beautiful.

We might have to adopt her.

Cassandra POV

I ran down the stairs fast. Good thing I only had to brush my hair.

My tan skin is completely clear. My brown eyes are huge on their own and I might win a world record for the worlds longest eye lashes. JK!

But I have people tel me on Instagram that I'm a Tumblr girl.

Whatever that means.

ANYWAYS

I get downstairs and pick up a crying Sophie.

Sophie is a 3 year old who got dropped here as an Infant.

It's sad.

Her mother had her when she was 13.

I wonder how that all happened.

"Cassie" Sophie cried.

"What baby girl?" I cooed.

"Mr. Moosh wants you.

Mr. Moosh was what we called Mr. Mishaunee

"Ok" I told her

I waddled with the toddler on my hip to the interview room.

"Soph said you wanted me." I stated

5 boys all turned to me while Mr. Mishaunee was still on his tablet.

I recognized those boys

"Hey aren't you those boys from 1C or something?" I blurted clueless.

"No love it's 1D." Lewis said

"Love it's Louis not Lewis." The same boy stated.

"Sorry I think out loud sometimes." I giggled as I felt my face heating up.

" I don't mean to be weird but is that your child?" Liam asked.

I almost choked on air.

"No Momma left. Cassie is my minma." Sophie babbled

"Minma?" Liam asked

"I promised her I would adopt her when it's legal, so she's on hold. Like a product." I explained still mad that here we are treated like objects.

"Oh. Okay."

"Mr. Moosh ,Cassie is here." Sophie told Mr. Mishaunee while the boys chuckled at our nickname for him.

"CASSANDRA!!!!" Mr. Mishaunee suddenly screamed.

"Mr. Moosh are you wasted?" I asked seriously

He nodded his head fast.

He is not good drunk.

I put Sophie down and I told her "Go to your room and tell the other kids that Mr. Moosh is being bad and don't come down until I say. OK?" I told her.

She nodded and toddled off. I love that girl.

The boys looked terrified from what I told Soph.

"I's okay. I just don't like the kids around him when he's drunk. " I told them.

"Okay? So now what?" Liam asked.

"One second" I replied

"Mr.Mishaunee did you bring a lady home?" I asked as the boys looked disgusted. Ha.

"Yes." he slurred

I turned to look at the boys. Haha their faces.

"Go I'll take care of the clients" I ordered.

"Where would I be with out you Cassandra?" he asked rhetorically.

"Most likely in jail." I answered as he got up to leave and I found the paperwork in the file.

I took a seat in the big chair and acted professional.

"What ages would you like sirs?" I attempted but failed.

Niall's turn

That girl Cassandra is so pretty and so mature. I wonder who was singing though.

"We need ages 14 or 15 to adopt." Louis said

Did she ask a question?

"Oh. I'm the only one in that range. Everybody adopts younger kids. Nobody wants me. Not once in the 12 years I was here." She answered and acted like none of what she just said is sad.

Who wouldn't want her? She is gorgeous and her personality is indescribable.

"Your the only one in the age range?" Louis asked to confirm.

"Yeah. There is another orphanage down the street. It is mostly my age there. Try that place."

Wow. Can't she see we want her?
