"Are you even listening?" The sudden question brought Mark back to reality, causing to stop looking Jackson up and down.
"I am now." He responded and the talkative boy made a grimace.
"Is this your dog?" He pointed to Coco who was lazily eating some of the more fresh grass to help her stomachache.
"Yeah. She's adorable, isn't she."
Jackson couldn't help but smile at the other boy who seemed softer when talking about his precious puppy. One thing the Chinese had noticed about the other boy was that he seemed really cold at first but with the explosion of cuteness that was slowly revealing itself now he was proved the opposite.
"Why are you staring at me?" Mark spoke his usual quiet but harsh, according to Jackson, tone now back.
"I wasn't- I was looking at the pup."
"Sure thing."
"You're not from Korea, right, hyung?"
"Why do you care?"
"Hey, I want a normal conversation alright. Don't get jumpy."
"...I'm from LA."
"Los Angeles?" Jackson beamed amazement visible in his sparkling eyes and Mark didn't fail to notice his perfect pronunciation, "That's so cool. I'm from Hong Kong."
"China...yeah, I guessed so."
"You did?"
Mark suddenly felt the urge to scream when he realized he'd just let the fact he was playing deduction almost slip out.
"Well, your looks and all." He lied and Jackson raised a brow but didn't comment, "Anyways, what college are you in?"
"I dropped out."
The small reply wasn't enough to the confused elder who was now staring at his intruder. He couldn't understand why would someone want to cut in their life like that. But he knew he shouldn't ask - the other would've told him if he wanted to.
The two walked in silence, Mark still puzzled about why Jackson was following him around.
"Listen, not to be rude," He started determined to know the reason behind the stalker like male, "but why are you following me?"
"I've got nothing better to do. Plus you seem kind of...unusual?" The blonde shrugged continuing to follow his hyung's pace.
"Unusual how?"
"You order Margarita and that tastes horrible."
"A lot of people love Margaritas, I don't know what you mean."
"Yeah, but they don't order it like two times a day everyday for the past month."
"Shut up."
Jackson laughed loudly upon defeating his hyung in their little argument. Mark was chuckling soon as well unknowingly following the younger boy who was happy he could bring him out of his shell. The Hong Kong male remembered seeing the piles of work in Mark's apartment and that seemed to bother him as he set his mind on becoming friends with that need. He didn't know how it happened - he just wanted that.
"Margaritas are boring." He suddenlt stated leaving Mark glaring slightly.
"I am boring."
"You're interesting to me."
The elder decided to take that as some weird form of a compliment not wanting to argue further.
"Do you want to-" His hyung started but then shook his head, "No, forget it we can't do that."
