I let out a big sigh after making a perfect incision at my patient's right artery which causes the bleeding. It took time to find where the blood is coming from.

I suctioned it then gave the hands to my first assisting surgeon.

"You wrap up with this." I stepped back from the operating table as my assistants and all other nurses inside the operating room bowed at me.

"You've worked hard." I smiled at them.

Lumabas na ako sa OR at hinubad ang mga damit at dineretso ito sa trash can.
I then again wore my Doctor's coat back. I went to the Doctor's station to have some drink after that tiring operation that lasted for almost two hours.

I'm Mika Aereen Reyes. 28 years old and I am a thoracic surgeon working for Hanshin University Hospital here in Korea. Actually, Filipino ako. My Father was just a great Doctor in this Hospital back then. But since the late Director didn't had someone to run this after him, he gave it to my father. So basically, this hospital's Director is my father.

I'm actually working here for 3 years already. Recently, I got promoted as the Director and Manager of the Thoracic Department. They say that my team is by far the best thoracic team here in our Hospital.

Kianna Dy- she's my first assisting surgeon. She graduated as cum laude at Hanshin University. She is also a Filipino but she grew up here in Korea so she speaks Korean.

Justine Tiu- she is my junior. She's actually half chinese and half korean. She was born here in Korea. I heard she's dating someone from Arch so that's the reason why we get free concert tickets.

Carol Cerveza- she's also a Filipino. And she's my anesthesiologist.

There are two other people in my team, the scrub team, but they are both Koreans so hindi ko na ipapakilala.

Ara Galang- she's a Professor already and a head surgeon. She's from the General Surgery Department.

"It was a hard surgery. Alam mong andaming risk so nag ingat lang ako." I shrugged. "What brings you here?"

"Ah! Buti naalala ko." Ngumiti ngiti siya at saka inilapag ang dalawang tickets para sa concert. "Nakapag comeback na ang Arch so I got ourselves a ticket. Bukas yan at 7." She wiggled her eyebrows at ako naman ay napa sandal nalang sa swivel chair ko.

"Sorry, Daks. I have an important surgery tomorrow. Heart transplant iyon so I think it will take time." I explained.

"5 yun diba? 7 pa naman ang concert so pwedeng humabol nalang tayo. Besides, the gates will open at 7:30 and the concert will start at 8." I shrugged.

"I'll try."

"Hey there, ladies! How's the surgery?"

"It was okay. The patient's fine. And we hope mag tuloy tuloy." Kianna answered at saka sumandal na.

"I see you two are having a meeting here, huh?" Si Justine ay Korean and Chinese. But she's multi lingual. She can also speak in Filipino.

"Niyayaya niya ako sa concert ng Arch bukas. Nakapag comeback na daw kasi. But remember, we have an important surgery tomorrow."

"Ah! That! Hindi ka nakausap ni Chief, Ate? Imo move nila tonight yung surgery dahil ayaw na ng guardian nung magdo donate na makitang nahihirapan yung anak nila. So I guess the surgery will be moved today." Really?
