When Time Reverse [Naruto Fanfic]

Chapter Two

"Soo..." The Sandaime Hokage of Konohagakure, Sarutobi Hiruzen, stared at the four strangers before him, "...You can see the future?"

"Yup!" Naruto exclaimed cheerfully with a grin.

"And something bad is going to happen causing Konoha to fall into destruction?"

"Uh huh," Sakura nodded.

"But you can't tell us what it is..."

"Correct!" Kakashi confirmed. "Give the man a prize!"

"Alright, that sounds believable..." Sarutobi said slowly and calmly, before, "AS IF I COULD BELIEVE THAT!" Flipping the table. "Do you take me as an child? Tell me, why should I believe in all this nonsense?" The Sandaime asked with a tick.

"Well," Kakashi began, "We could tell you, if we could speak to you alone." Sarutobi merely raised an eyebrow before nodding to team seven.

Team seven made there way out of the Hokage's office. Obito looked as if he was going to protest but was ushered out by his team instructor.

As soon as they were gone, Kakashi's smile was quickly replaced with an serious expression. Sarutobi couldn't help but compare how much the older look similar to Minato's young student now that he was completely, utterly, serious.

"Hokage-sama, I would like your assurance that none of what we speak of here leave this room," Kakashi said.

The Sandaime looked at the silver haired man for a second before nodding solemnly. "You have my word."

"Good, Naruto, why don't you explain."

'Naruto?' Sarutobi blanched, 'Isn't that the name of the protagonist of Jiraiya's book?'

"Whaaat? Why me?" Naruto complained, but quickly relented at his teacher's stern look. "Okay, okay. So in the beginning... No, that's not right... How it started was... How do I put this..."

"We're from the future," Sasuke interrupts bluntly, having enough of his teammate's ramble.

"Oi Sasuke! Don't interrupt me! I was getting to that! Okay, so, we're from the future. Yeah." Naruto nodded to himself, feeling satisfied with his answer. The Hokage stared at them with a deadpanned look.

"...Explain..."

"Okay, so there was this big war going on and there was this bad guy that was killing everyone, but I beat him up like the cool and awesome hero I am, but everyone was dead by the end, so I was like, 'Aw man!' but Kakashi-sensei came up to me and was like, 'Naruto, you're so cool and awesome, can you do this time-travel jutsu because you're so cool and awesome?' and I was like, 'Yeah! Cause then I could save everyone that is dead and they'll be like, Naruto is way cooler and more awesome than Sasuke-teme will ever be dattebayo!' And, yeah..." Naruto trailed off by the looks he was getting from everyone.

Sarutobi grabbed something from the long and confusing monologue, "Kakashi-sensei?"

He nodded, "Yeah! That's Kakashi-sensei over there! He's not chibi no more."

"Thanks Naruto," Kakashi said dryly. He then proceed to explain the story to the bewildered Hokage in terms that people could actually understand (Naruto: HEY!).

"So Konoha was destroyed by this person named Tobi?" Sarutobi asked when he finished.

"Yeah..." Kakashi said, guiltily.

"I'm curious, why come back to this time?"

"In a week, my old team will take a mission, and during that mission, an event will occur that pretty much is the cause of why Konoha will be in it's ruins in the future," Kakashi explained.

The Sandaime nodded, "And you can't tell me any more of this?"

They all shook their heads. "No. We don't want to reveal too much about the future and risk a sudden change in it."

Sarutobi sighed, feeling his age catch up to him. "I understand. Can you at least tell me your full names?"

Kakashi nodded, "I am Hatake Kakashi."

"Haruno Sakura-desu!"

"Hn. Uchiha Sasuke."

"And I am Uzumaki Naruto!"

"Not Namikaze?" Sarutobi questioned. "Because you look just like him."

"That's cause he's my dad. I grew up with my mom's surname," Naruto answered.

Sarutobi chuckled, "Minato and Kushina, who would have thought." He then turned to the four time travelers before him. "I have an idea. I'm going to have Minato lead you three for a week and Kakashi lead his old team. This way you would have a chance to know each other better and it will make an good excuse for sending both of your teams on that mission. Sounds good?"

They all nodded.

"Come to my office at 6:30," Sarutobi instructed.

The three thirteen year olds' eyes widen. "You mean 2:30, right?" Naruto said shakily.

"No, I meant-"

"He meant 2:30," Naruto insisted, turning towards his teacher. "Kakashi-sensei, he said 2:30."

Kakashi stared blankly at his blond student, "Naruto, you may want to get your hearing checked. He clearly said 6:30."

"Nooooo!" Naruto cried out, falling to his knees. "So cloooose!"

"Just give it up, Naruto," Sakura sighed. "There's nothing you can do."

Sasuke merely turned around, "Whatever, I'm leaving."

"Oi teem!" Naruto shouted as he ran after the raven haired male. "Wait up!"

"Naruto! Sasuke! You can't just leave, you have to wait to be dismissed!" Sakura called, chasing after her teammates.

*Enter awkward silence here*

"...Erm, I'll just go check on them... Make sure they don't kill each other..." Kakashi said eventually. "Ja!" And shushined out of the room.

A faint 'Ow! Sakura-chan!' was heard in the distance.

The third turned to face the village and looked out, lost in his thoughts.

Future, huh? Interesting...

Rin-san (aka Author-san): ...Erm... I have no excuses... *Grovels to the ground* I mean I am a busy person, I don't have all the time in the world. School is a pain too, I just couldn't get my hands on some time... I'm also busy with my job, my boss is a strict person too. I...er...um... *mumble mumble mumble*

Naruto: Rin, you're rambling...

Rin-san: I'M SORRY~

Naruto: Anyways, Rin here doesn't own Naruto in any shape or form... If she did, oh god what will happen to it. I mean she's lazy and she can't keep track of anything without messing up something (Rin: HEY!). Also she forgets things and always leave things unfinished (One reason why this isn't being updated any sooner...).

Rin-san: Are you just going to insult me? I have some good points too! ...Right? *Sits in emo corner and grows mushrooms*
