"It's amazing living with Dee. I met him at a club over in Hollis and then we went back to his old house where he still lived with his momma and brother, and we fucked in the basement where his room was". I cracked up at Dee's old life. I didn't know that when I met him in the mall close to a year ago, that he had been living with his momma in her basement. I guess him meeting me was just what he needed. That was the first time Meyelda actually put a smile on my face. "Well, then he told me that he worked for an eighteen year old girl and I smacked him right in his face because I thought instantly that he was fucking you". My mouth dropped in shock. I rose my eye brows and continued to laugh.

"Hell no girl! I never got down with any of them. I got me two fine niggas that I go down that road with, but hell no I ain't fuck Dee or Alex. Not even Armani". I laughed making them laugh with me.

"Well, you have to admit that it sounded pretty funny, I mean what grown man works for an eighteen year old girl? I'm twenty-one and it would just be too damn weird having a grown ass man working for me. That's until I realized how much money he was making with you. That nigga flossed like he was the shit and that attracted me to him. He started buying me shit and doing for me, then he moved out his momma's house and told me to move with him. This nigga moves way too fast in a relationships honey, but he tells me that we're meant to be together".

"Well what about Giovanna and Alex"? I said.

"Giovanna had been my best friend since middle school. Dee introduced me to Alex and I introduced Alex to Giovanna". Meyelda said as she grabbed a martini off of a tray a woman handed out. I grabbed one too and started sipping on it.

"Alex was so nice to me". Giovanna cut in. "He wouldn't just fuck me, he would actually make love to me and I barley knew him". Giovanna said as she starred off into space smiling. "He was like a dream come true. I haven't moved in with him yet, but I'm at his place so much I mine as well live there. The house is beautiful, but to me it isn't big enough. Shit, I want a mansion". I laughed at that. I wanted one too. I was tired of my little apartment in Hollis. I was ready to see bigger and better things.

"So is there any gossip that I should know about"? I asked.

"Well there really isn't anything. I know that your boy Armani came over to Dee's last night and they were in his man cave playing pool and drinking. I over heard them talking and Armani was saying how he's tired of you fronting like you don't want him".

"Wait what"? I asked almost choking on my martini. "Frontin'? Ain't nobody frontin'. I don't like Armani. He's sexy and all, but I just don't want him".

"Why not girl"? Giovanna asked. It was just like how it was back in high school when the twins would ask me why I didn't like Tyrone's ass.

"Because he's childish, cocky in a way, and very, very annoying". I said over exasperating with my hand.

"Well he also said that he's planning something special for you soon so wait on it". Meyelda said. She had that look on her face like a you salty type look.

"Well I'm not going to be apart of whatever he has in store". I said. "I got other things to worry about. I got very important things to worry about".

"Like what"? Asked Giovanna.

"Like getting ready to take my business else where and finding new men to work for me". I said.

"Wait what"!? Meyelda gasped.

"You heard me". I said.

"Diamond, get new men? Your firing Alex and Dee"?

"No silly. I mean other men for when I move. Dee and Alex can't move with me. They got life's up here in Queens so I gotta find new men to work for me when I move".

"Where you moving to"? Meyelda asked.

"Somewhere on the west coast". I said. "Where it's always hot".

"Diamond, please tell me that this is not going to be soon". Giovanna pleaded.

"It's not. I'm thinking a couple months from now". I said.

"A couple months!? Diamond that's sooner than I thought. I thought you were talking years"!

"We had this discussion at the dinner table at the french restaraunt. I told you I was leaving Alex in charge so when I come back, the business would still be there".

"I forgot about yalls convo. I barely knew what yall were talking about. Alex never told me what he did for a living". Giovanna said upset.

"Well you know now that I own a factory on the south side. I got bitches making dope all day".

"Wow, you sound like some type of big time drug dealer". Meyelda laughed.

"That's because I am. Half the niggas out there still can't believe it's a young female doing their job". After our pedicures we went out to the pool and sat around watching females do swan dives into the ten feet. We talked, we laughed, and we chilled. Giovanna said that she made reservations at an expensive restaraunt down town for my birthday dinner and the boys came out and we ate and got drunk later that night. This time, the waiter sung to me and gave me a small danish with a candle in it. My birthday wasn't half bad. It was actually one of the funnest nights I had in a long time. Alex and Dee took the girls home and I drove home alone. I was just glad that I made some new friends.
