In this book, Christina's friends call her Chris. Here it goes, first chapter. Wish me luck!

Chris POV

Sweat is beaded across my forehead, drippings to my lips. The salty taste of the liquid enters my mouth as I race down the track. My mind goes blank, not thinking about anything but my 400 yard sprint. This race could change my future, it has to be perfect.
I glance up to the stands and see a man in a suit and dark, shaded glass. He resembles a spy that you can see in the James Bond movies. He must be the talent scout here to watch me. I think to myself. I continue sprinting down the track, and finally the finish line comes into view. The checkered line below marks my victory as I push out my remaining energy into my powerful finish. My foot finally hits the pavement, putting me in the top spot of National Champion of Division 1 Girls! I raise my left arm in victory facing the crowd. I see the scout nodding his head in approval and making his way down the stairs. People surround me as the stadium chants my name! " Christina! Hills! Hills! Hills!" The noise rings in my ears. A boy about my age walks up to me and he tells me," I know we have never met. I'm Spencer Ashes. I have seen you around at school before Christina. Congrats on your big win! I'm so happy for you! Well...," he says looking off into the crowd and spots the dark sunglasses dude," I guess I'll see you later!"
" Yeah. See ya", I say, unsure of what he was up to. The dark suited man finally makes his way towards me and says," Brad Ashes with SportsStar," extending his hand to me. "I saw your race. I believe you have a gift that can take you far, even to the Olympics. Can you meet with me on Tuesday next week to discuss this, I don't want it all over the news if you happen to not agree to be part of what we have here at SportsStar. We inspire the next Olympians to pursue their dreams, so I'll see you Tuesday?" Mr. Brad concludes his speech. Wow! That's a lot to take in! I could be an Olympian? That's a dream come true! Wait? He said Ashes? Didn't? Spencer!
" Wait Sir! Did you say your last name was Ashes? A boy just came up to me and introduced himself as Spencer Ashes. Is he your son?" I question Mr. Brad. " As a matter of fact, he is. I hope he didn't give you any trouble! Did he?"
"No! Of course not Sir! You're son was just fine. I guess he knew you were going to come talk to me then?"
"I guess he did," then Mr. Brad smirks," But I think he's falling for you. He doesn't normally talk to girls, especially pretty ones like you." I blush at his comment. Spencer just met me and he likes me!
" Well, I will discuss your proposition with my parents. If you have a card, I can contact you if we decide to come."
"Oh! Of course!," he hands me his business card and extends his hand to me," Until we meet again Christina! It's been a pleasure!" Then he walks off and in greeted by all my friends and family! It's been a good day!
