All I Want Is To See You

What color is it?

"Ed?"
Roy heard him enter the room. He knew it was Ed because he had memorized the footsteps. There was nothing else to do when you're trapped in pitch darkness. Edward sat next to him on the bed.
"Yes?"
Roy slowly pulled Ed into his lap longing for nothing more than to see that beautiful smile, and the light in those amazing eyes. He didn't care about anything else. He would give up his soul if he could see ed smile right now. Roy silently traced The blondes face running his fingers over every crease and bump down the bridge of his of his nose and across his cheeks.
"What color is it?"
His other hand was feeling the fabric of Eds shirt.
"R-Red. I'm wearing red today.. you always said you liked how I looked in red."
Roy smiled and Ed couldn't help but let tears well up in his eyes.
"A-and right now the Sun is setting and the walls are covered in red and orange and yellow and its gleaming through the window like a fire Roy a fire"
The ravenett could hear the tears In Eds voice and he brushed them away from his soft cheeks. Placing a kiss on his head.
"N-Now it's more red than anything else and there's just a sliver of light in the room the Sun is almost done setting Roy. It's beautiful."
Mustang continued placing gentle kisses all over Eds face not leaving an inch untouched.
"It's d-dark now. But the moon is full tonight and there's stars everywhere. Beautiful ones lighting up the sky, stars that would make diamonds feel bad about themselves."
In fact there were no stars. It was cloudy and dreary and looked like it was going to rain. It had been that way all day, but Ed decided if he was going to see the world for Roy he would only see the most beautiful world possible. He wrapped his arms around Roy's neck and sobbed softly in his shoulder. He hated this, his Roy couldn't see. His beautiful Roy that could find the beauty in a pile of dirt was stuck in darkness and memories of the world around him. Roy hugged Ed tightly and pet his hair down softly
