School just ended and it's the first day of summer

It may be the first day of summer but I still ended up waking up early. I did my morning routine which consists of a shower, brushing my hair and teeth. I change into a Gray Nike sweat pants and a black nike shirt (Above). I go downstairs to the kitchen to see my mom cooking for my little brother Jayden. As soon as I sit down my mom tells me "pack your bags". I never had the best relationship with my mom but kicking me out? Wasn't that a little rash....
•Jayden's pov•
mom told me once im done eating to get my stuff ready. Serenity finally walks into the room. I've been waiting for her to tell her she needed to pack. Mom beat me to it but as soon as the word "bag" came out Serenity turned pale. she worries a lot and mom says that's not good for her but im hungry so I go back to eating my pancakes. after all this is the last meal mom is going to cook for us before we go to New York.

I don't know what to think until mom breaks the silence with "you and Jayden are going to New York for the summer to go to a camp."
