Apple Syrup takes a lot after Applejack since she was born an Earth pony. She inherited her huge appetite and strength. Also her honesty, but unlike Applejack she can tell a good lie, thanks to Rarity's genes. Apple Syrup also inherited a little of Rarity's fashion design. But while she does help Rarity with the clothes she realizes that she can keep it simple just like Applejack.
