Chapter 10

I went to my locker and put my stuff there. I also checked my phone and saw I have a message from Christina.

"I saw your bestfriend a while ago, how about you invite her later? Let's all hang out." Christina said.

"Idk mom. we don't have the same schedule, but I'll ask her anyways. I'll text you again later, assembly's about to start. Love you mom." I replied.

"Okay sweetie. I love you too." Christina replied.

I kept my phone then went to my classroom. The light's are out. I don't know where my classmates are, so is our teacher. I walked inside then suddenly the lights went on.

"Surprise! Welcome back Nicky!" my classmates and teacher shouted.

Balloons are everywhere, confetti's all over the floor, and banners on the white board.

"We missed you sweetie." My teacher hugged me.

"Thank you for the surprise. Who taught of this?" I asked.

"Your bestfriend Lian. You guys saw each other at the bench a while ago. She set this up." Ms. Lindsey said.

"I guess that's why she left so fast." I laughed.

"C'mon, enjoy your welcome back party." She said.

"Can I go to Lian? I'll just thank her for this." I asked.

"Sure. But make sure you excuse her." Ms. Lindsey said. I nodded then went to Lian's classroom.

I thanked her for the surprise she thought of and also asked her to hang out with us later.

I went to my locker to get my stuff then met Lian at the bench.

"Hey Lian." I said.

"Hey Nick. So, what time is Christina going to pick you up?" Lian asked.

"I'll just text her." I said then took out my phone.

"Hey mom, Lian and I are dismissed. Are you at the parking lot?" I texted her.

"Yes sweetie, I'm here. Let's meet at the gate." Christina said. I kept my phone.

"My MOM's here. Let's meet her at the gate." I said. Lian and I walked to the gate.

"Nick!" Christina/mom shouted.

"Hey mom." I hugged her.

"Oh, hey Lian." Christina said.

"Hey Christina. Nicky's so lucky, you're her mom." Lian said. Christina smiled.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"We'll pick up Lise and Lauren first then we'll go to the mall." Christina said.

"You're lucky, you'll get to hang out with my mom's sisters." I said to Lian. Lian and Christina laughed.

"C'mon, let's pick them up." Christina said. We walked to Lisa's car then drove home to pick up Lisa and Lauren.

"It's been a while since I last went here." Lian said.

"Yeah, your last visit here was August. I think." I said.

"Let's wait for them inside." Christina said while looking around. I guess she's looking for that guy.

We all went inside. We saw Lauren sitting down on the couch.

"Laur where's Lise?" Christina asked Lauren.

"Upstairs, doing her make up." Lauren said. Christina went upstairs.

"Hey Nicky Nick. Hey little girl." Lauren waved at Lian.

"Oh. Lauren this Lian, my bestfriend. Lian, our idol *winks* Lauren." Lauren and Lian laughed.

"Hey Nicz." Lisa said while running down the stairs.

"Lise, this is Lian, my bestfriend. Lian, you already know who she is." Lian and Lisa laughed.

"Letter L everywhere. Lisa, Lauren, Lian, Christina Lynne." Lauren said while laughing.

"Letter C also. Christina, Lauren Christine and Nicky Christine." Lisa said. We all laughed.

"C'mon, let's go to the mall." Christina said. We all followed her to the car but she went outside first.

Christina driving, Lisa beside her, Lauren, Lian and I at the back. Christina played some music while we're going to the mall.

"Lian, until what time are you allowed to hang out with us?" Christina asked Lian.

"My mom said I should be home before 7:30" Lian said.

"We'll drop you off at your house before 7" Christina said.

"Okay. Thank you." Lian said. Christina smiled.

Minutes later we arrived at the mall.
We ate first then shopped clothes. We still have time before we drop off Lian so we decided to have some Starbucks.

"Goodbye Lian!" we all said at the same time. We lookead at each other then laughed.

"Goodbye. I enjoyed hanging out with you guys." Lian said then we drove home.
