“It better be a good one Andrew.”

Rosabel finished fixing her clothes and he stood watching her with the same grin. “Certainly, Lana Della.” He leaned his hand out for her when he unlocked the cubical door. He had Rosabel blushing because of the way he said her middle and last name. He said it simply but so charmingly. Andy stopped and opened the boy’s toilets still holding Rosabel’ hand, and she stood behind him as he peeped through to see if anyone was watching. He dragged her along and they both walked like nothing happened. Rosabel was still shy and embarrassed but Andy felt no different from last time.

They walked though the parking lot but passed his car. “Are we not taking the car?” She asked. “No.” Andy replied putting his arm around her shoulders and moving her as close as he could to his body. The coffee shop was not too far from the college. It was five minutes and for that five minute walk they said nothing to each other. They walked in silence with Andy’s arm still around Rosabel’ shoulder. The weather was still nice so they decided to get the orange table that was outside.

As soon as they sat down a waitress came to take their order. “What can I get you?” She smiled with her note pad in her hand and wearing a black apron around her waist. “Can I have a mango smoothie please?” Andy looked at Rosabel with a curious smile, trying to figure out something by staring at her. “What can I get for you?” The waitress turned around to face Andy. “Bring me the same.” Andy replied still looking at Rosabel and not paying attention to the waitress who was clearly begging for his attention. She wandered o get their orders and when she was back she set their creamy smoothies on the table. “Rosabel, what I did last night.” The conversation begun.

“When I made you walk home I wasn’t thinking properly. I’m sorry for what I did.”

“Andy, anything could have happened to me last night. You can’t get high and then treat me the way you do.”

“It won’t happen again.”

Sadly, Rosabel did not believe him. They time she would have believed him is if he stopped taking his pills.

“I’m sorry for kissing Tommy in front of you.”

“Rosabel I don’t want you to talk to Tommy or the boys. I know exactly what they want and I’m not sure I want it to happen.”

“What is it Andy.”

His frightened face said it all; there was something wrong.

“We have this thing we do when we get a girl to come over at my house. We get her high and we make her do things to the five of us.”

“You mean you take advantage of girls by getting them high?”

"Yes.”

Andy looked Rosabel straight in the eye showing no remorse.

“That’s what they want from you but I won’t let it happen.”

“Why? It’s not like you care about me.”

“I care, Rosabel. If I didn’t care then what you did with Tommy at the beach wouldn’t have bothered me.”

If he cares the why won’t he just make his girlfriend?

She thought.

What did you tell your mom last night?”

“Nothing. I wasn’t in the mood to talk about it. But she’s starting to get worried about where I’m spending most of my time when I come home late or sleep over.”

“So what do you suggest we do Rosabel?”

He smiled at her which only got her to blush again.
