Jessie's POV
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!
I groaned as I heard my alarm go off, way to loud for my liking. My face was buried in my pillows, trying to deafen the blaring noise and the sunlight that was coming through my window. It felt like I had a hangover, the pounding in my head was excruciating and I didn't even drink last night. Picking my head up from out my pillows the alarm Amplifies to the max.
"Dammit!" I groan, I quickly reach behind my nightstand and unplug the noisy device.
Flipping onto my back, a jolt of pain shoots through my side, instantly my arms wrap around my sides and hiss from the pain. Yesterday's events were kicking my ass now. I could feel all my sore muscles and bruises that had formed over the night.
Sitting up slowly I rested my back on the headboard of my bed. Memories of last night flooding my thoughts, Junior's face kept popping up, and the way Lewis was acting all night. I had never seen Junior so angry, I've seen him when he was having his little tantrums but nothing compared to what I saw last night. He was out for blood and the way he shut the whole world out, only focusing on the guy in front of him was unbelievable. Last night I learned why they called him "Pshyco," he goes ballistic when it comes to a fight or when he's angry. Seeing him like that last night was terrifying but at the same time was liberating, watching someone pay for what they had done to us. I was enjoying the guys pain and agony pour out of him slowly with every hit he received.
My phone started ringing bringing me out of my dark thoughts. Looking at the caller ID, it was my mother calling me.
"Yeah," I say once I answered.
"Are you up already or are you still asleep?" She asked sarcasm dripping from her words.
"No mom I'm still asleep," I grumble.
"Get your butt ready for school," she says and ended the call before I could protest any further.
Throwing my phone on the bed, I get out of bed and stretch out my sore body not paying attention to the pain shooting through my body. Walking over to my closet my phone starts buzzing and ringing again. I let it ring not wanting to talk to anyone at the moment. Didn't anyone understand that I'm not a morning person? Grabbing a white shirt, black dickies, and my underwear, I head to the bathroom.
"Well you're up early," my mother says as I pass by her to get to my bathroom.
"Mhm," I say waving her off and shut the door without another word.
"Buenas Dias to you too," she shouts teasingly.
Rolling my eyes at her, I start to get undressed and turn on the shower. Putting the water that it was almost cold, I step in and feel my body spaz from the shocking cold water running down my back. It was helping me wake up slowly, only getting 3 hours of sleep was really kicking me in the ass right now.
I quickly turned the watered hot watching the steam rise from skin and the tub. I shampooed my hair and cleaned my body quickly, I stayed under the shower head a while longer soaking up the warmth of the water and the tranquil feeling of it beating down my body.
"Jessie! Hurry up! I gots to pee pee!" I hear my baby brother scream from the other side of the door.
"Okay, okay!" I shout back. I quickly turn the water off, wrapping my towel around me and grab my clothes.
Opening the door, my brother rushes in and stops in front of the toilet and looks at me with a pointed look, "Get out!" He shrieks.
I step out laughing at the panicked look he had, it was too cute.
