Sometimes Secrets Are Okay.

Bucky's P.O.V

I woke up early this morning to the sound of rain outside my window. Last night was the first great nights sleep I've had in a very long time! Ever since Shay moved in, my nightmares have decreased greatly! I finally decided to get up and take my morning shower. I reluctantly got out, and got dressed in my blues jeans and red t-shirt. We had a "secret" meeting this morning, so I pulled my wet, shoulder length hair into a bun. Cliché, I know, but I didn't feel like pushing hair out of my face all day. I wanted to stay as focused as possible today.

This "meeting" is actually a group of us deciding what to plan for Shay's birthday, which is tomorrow! So much for "early planning"! Tony came up with the idea of celebrating her birthday, but we knew she'd protest to us doing anything special. So, we conveniently made sure that Shay was in training with Maria, so we could get together and agree on a plan. I walked into the meeting room, and was met with Tony, Steve, Nat and the twins.

"Okay, so, Shay's birthday is tomorrow! Since she's never had a real celebration, I think it's only fitting that we do something for her. Anyone have any ideas? ", Tony immediately took charge of the meeting. Typical Stark, but then again, he was paying for the whole thing!

"She's not going to like anything too flashy, so no crazy dance parties or anything of that nature. ", Wanda stated.

"Well, how about a semi-formal affair? It's not too flashy, but not too underdone. ", Nat suggested.

"I think that might actually work... ", Pietro spoke up. We all knew he was super serious, because if there was anything Pietro hated more than waiting, it's dressing up!

"Okay! All in favor of the semi-formal party, raise your hand. ", Tony said, and we all raised our hands.

"We'll take her shopping, make up some excuse about some corporate banquet and get her something to wear. ", Nat said. Tony threw her one of his many credit cards.

"Good idea! Wanda, Nat and Pietro. When she gets finished with training, take her out. Also, all of you get something to wear if you need to. ",Tony instructed. Oddly generous today, wasn't he? Nat and the twins excused themselves to go find Shay.

"Okay. The rest of us are on decorations. ", Tony said.

"Define decorations. ", I spoke up for the first time since they meeting began.

"Theme, colors, placement. ", Tony replied.

"Shay strikes me as a classy girl, so how about black and white? ", Steve suggested.

"That's perfect! ", Tony said. "Okay, now, let's go map out space. ", Tony led us out of the room.

Shay's P.O.V

I was currently riding in the front of a black S.U.V. Natasha was driving, I was in the passenger seat and the twins were in the backseat.

"So, what are we going clothes shopping for, again? ", I asked.

"They set up another corporate party, and we ALL need something to wear. ", Nat answered.

"Can't I just stay in my room? ", I groaned, even though I pretty much already knew the answer. My mild social anxiety made me somewhat uncomfortable around large groups of people.

"Sorry, but no. All agents associated with the entire organization are required to attend. ", Nat replied back. I nodded, and heard a long sigh from the backseat. I turned around to see Pietro looking out of the car window, with a very uninterested look on his face. I felt sorry for him! Stuck clothes shopping with the ladies! It was a little humorous as well, but that's beside the point.
