It was a rainy night, and I was walking with an umbrella along the sidewalk. I was texting Mark. He invited me to join him, his boyfriend Jackson, and JB to a karaoke joint. He bribed me in by saying it was "their treat". I couldn't resist.

To <Mark>
What's the address?

I press send and locked my screen. Looking around me, I noticed that it was a beautiful night out. The stars shown brighter than ever, the sound of the rain hitting against my umbrella, and the empty quiet street just stood out to me this evening.

My phone flashed, indicating that Mark texted me. But, the flash made my eye catch something. It lightened up the alley I was standing next too. In the alley, my eyes formed out a silhouette of a figure leaning against the wall. I panicked a bit, but gathered some courage to check it out. My mind was screaming at me.

Bambam! What are you doing! You know that situations like these in movies never go well!

Sure, I was aware of that, but I had a weird gut feeling about this. I needed to check it out, or I would be able to stop thinking about it. I put my phone in my pocket, and slowly shuffled towards the figure.

It was a teenager, or actually someone near my age, leaning against the wall. They were worn out. Bruises and cuts covered their body. They laid there limp, breathing faintly. I rush over to the boy's side.

"Hey, are you ok?" The boy doesn't answer. He just stares at me blankly. "Hey! Can you hear me? At least say something! Like your name for exa-"

"Y-Y-Yugyeom." He managed to mumble.

"Ok Yugyeom, are you any any condition to move?" I ask him. I put my arm on his shoulder, and he winces. He harshly pulled away.

"Don't touc-" We're the only things he could get out before he blacked out. I panicked for a bit, not knowing what to do. I pick him up and tried to balance him so I could support his body. I decided that I should at least bring him to my apartment, and then see what I can do from there.

Holding him and my umbrella was a difficult thing for me. You see, I'm not the strongest person, thanks to my lanky body. But, I somehow managed to make it there.

I got out my keys to unlock the door. Once inside, I shuffle and put Yugyeom on the couch. I looked at him now since I had a better view of him. His injuries were worst than I thought.

Poor guy... He only looks a few years younger than me as well.

I walk to my room and plopped myself on the bed. Sighing, I decided to tell Mark that I wouldn't make it to the karaoke joint.

Man! It was their treat too!

To <Mark>
Hey, I don't think I could make it. An emergency came up. Sorry :/

From <Mark>
Aw :/ well ok I'll tell them. Thank god we didn't arrive there yet lol

To <Mark>
Oh good. You won't believe what came up for me to miss this. I'll tell you tomorrow : )

From <Mark>
Alright then, see you tomorrow x :)

I turn off my phone and set it to charge on my bedside table. I laid down and yawned. I never realized how tiring it was to carry Yugyeom all the way to my apartment. Apparently, it was so tiring that I fell asleep right at this moment.
