An Interview Gone Right

Start from the beginning

He bit his lip, before saying, "Dam...Dang! Ya, that's what I meant.... You look gorgeous Jenna."

I blushed at the comment and the color only darkened as he captured my hand with his and pulled me out of the tiny room towards the stage's opening.

Before words could break through my tightly sealed lips, I was practically dragged on stage and placed nexted to Niall. I took a quick look around and noticed that Liam was seated on the other side of me. He was glaring at his hands but I could see the slight blush on his cheeks.

"Welcome everyone to the Worldwide Show of Celebrities (Horrible name I know but it was the first thing that came to mind)! With us today we have the five boys that girls wait for days to see, faint over, and even flash for, in at least thirty-seven countries of the world. With two albums already out, one on the way, and a new perfume, everyone, let's welcome One Direction!" Somehow, Melinda got that all out in one breath as the crowd went absolutely balistic.

"Now, Lads I'll get right to you in a minute, but, might I ask who this young lady is?" She questioned motioning to me.

Zayn answers though I already had my mouth opened to reply. "This is Jenna Clark. She's a friend of my other friend, Emily Mendez. She's with us today because Niall fancy's her!" He finishes with a smirk.

Slight chaos seems to break out as the words slip out. Fans were looking around at other fans for justification while Melinda grinned.

"How cute! So I assume you guys are merely her friend then and you're trying to get them together?" The boys nod and me and Niall continue to blush as she continues, "What about this Emily girl? What's she to you, lads?"

"Friend!" Zayn, Louis and Niall call out.

"Ya. Though, Harry and Liam are fighting for her love and affection!" I squeal trying to get the spotlight off me and Niall.

The two mentioned boys look at me. Harry is blushing with a cheeky grin, but Liam is blushing with a glare.

"I am not! If Harry likes her, he can have her!" Liam hisses though the blush never leaves hs cheeks. Em likes guys who blush. She said it shows that the aren't prideful and taht they get embarrassed. Perfect match!

The interview seemed to continue on with a lot of similar topics and the expected questions of their new album that would be coming out and the inspiration for the perfume. As the end of the interview came, Niall suddenly got nervous. It appeared as though I wasn't the only one that noticed, either.

"Are you okay, Niall? You seem flustered...." Melinda noted.

Niall blushed, saying, "I'm fine. I, uh, just wanna ask Jenna something....."

I looked at Niall confused before he mumbled out the words, barely audible, that would answer my question.

"Will you... uh, know... go out with me.... like on a date...?"

I could tell shock was all over my face because he started rambling over the chanting fans. "I mean you don't have to! I'm not forcing you! Its only if you really want to! I can't make you if you don't want to! God, no. I'm not in charge of you or anything! I-I was jus-"

"Niall, be quiet for a second!" His lips snapped shut. "I  would love to go out with you." I felt my grin grow larger as his eyes grew wide with realization.

"S-seriously? Are you sure?" He questioned, cautiously, as if thinking it was some kind of cruel joke.

I nod. "Of course, I'm serious."

He smiled and the boys and their fans cheered though you could still hear the faint "Boo's."

"Then its a date!" Niall cheered, before doing a quick Irish jig.

Finally, the end of the interview came and we exit the stage. The minute we were off the stage, we were whisked away to get the make-up off and back into our regular clothes.

When we were done we instantly went to the truck and begin talking about the Bar-B-Que.

"Wait, what!?" Liam barked when we mentioned it. "What Bar-B-Que?!"

We explained it to him quickly. When we finished, he was back to being loud.

"Why wasn't I told?!  I don't want to see Emily right now! She's being a total arse!"

"That's not what you were saying when you were offering to take her home," Harry stated, though you could hear the slight jealousy.

Liam blushed before he fires back with an obvious lie, "She asked me to!"

"Riiiight...." I dragged out and changed the subject until we arrived back at me amd Emily's place.~

Emily's eyebrow shot up and she cooed, "So now you're talking about me being an arse?"

"No! No! It um came out....wrong?" Liam tried, but Em only rolled her eyes.

"Uncle Liam, I think you have a crush on Aunty Em," Bethany cooes.

"Ya! Now that I think about it Unckie Liam and Aunt Emily would be way cute together!" Addison squeals with agreeing whoops from the kids while the grown-ups grinned. This only left Liam and Emily blushing and looking down.

"I-it didn't work out between us," Emily whispered so softly you strained to hear her. Sadly, the kids still heard.

As they went to ask questions, I spoke quickly, "Seeing as we're all done with breakfast, why don't we go to the park? We'll finish telling the story later, ya? Good!"

With much arguement being displayed we ushered the kids out of our flat, but I soon noticed Emily wasn't with us. I went back in only to see her with her face in her hands. I sighed and she looks up quickly tears in her eyes.

"Emi..... It'll be okay...." I shush her as she cries gently.

When she finally stopped, she looked confused. "Why am I getting so worked up? It was just a thing of the past! Who cares anymore?! Geez, I'm such a baby!"

"You're not a baby for loving him," I mumble, softly.

She sits up quickly. "I don't love him! We broke up for a reason!"

        "And now you're in denial."

"No! Can we just go? Please?" She mumbles.

Before I can even answer, she's already walking off. I sigh once again. You'll figure it out sooner or later.... I hope....

"Oh, and you're telling the next part of the story!" I call.

She chuckles and nods as we follow our families.
