Jenna's POV
The grin continued to stay on my face as I started up with the story. "The four boys that surrounded me seemed really excited. Then I remembered that there are five boys in the band not four..."
~As the realization that Liam wasn't here sunk in, I turned to the window to see him and Emily still glaring at each other. I sighed, as Liam said something to Em and she shook her head. The arguement continued for a minute or so before Emily seemed to give in to whatever he was saying.
Finally, the pair walked back in quietly, though they still earned a few stares.
"Hey Lads, I'm gonna take Emily home and I'll meet you at the interview. Can I get the keys?" He asks turning to Niall.
Quickly, I grab the keys from Niall and lean in towards Liam's ear.
I whispered, "Go easy on Em, okay? I know she seems tough, but she only does that for her own protection. She keeps these walls up and they surround her; they keep her safe. What you have to do is give her a reason to let those walls of hers fall down. If you do that she'll come around, eventually. Trust me."
When I pulled back and looked at his face he seemed almost shocked, but he slowly nodded in response.
As the two left, I felt the confused looks from the boys I was getting, but I ignored them and went to a new conversation.
"The barbeque is at 4:30. When is the interview?" I ask.
Niall looked at his phone. "It's 1:28 right now and the interview is at 2:30. Seeing as Liam has our ride we'll have to call Paul. Either way, we will make it to the BBQ on time."~
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Emily exclaimed. "You were talking about me behind my back?! That's not cool, you guys."
I smirked at Liam as he blushed and looked away, but I ignored Emily.
Louis interupted the story, "Can we skip this part and get to interview? All that's next is us eating and the car ride to the interview."
The kids mumbled in agreement and Bethany spoke saying, "Ya, skip to the interview. That seems to be really important."
I grin at the kids and nod. "We arrived at the interview and the boys instantly head to the dressing room...."
~I watch as the boys dash to the dressing rooms, and I take a seat on a couch near the opening to get on stage. From where I sat I could hear the fans' cheers. I could also hear the interviewer, Melinda Wicks (go with it), talking to the fans.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed my arm and pulled me up from the couch.
"What are you doing?! You still have to get to wardrobe and make-up!" Hissed a short man with greying brown hair. "Geez! You'd expect Niall's date to know this!"
"Wait, what's going on!? What do you mea..... Niall said I'm his date?" My voice came out softer than I meant it to, so he didn't hear me. Instead, he pushed me down into one of those director chairs that had 'Make-Up' written across the back.
Nearly five minutes later, I was being ushered to wardrobe and stuffed into a pale pink dress. It was strapless and hugged my waist perfectly. Once again I was being pushed around the small space until I was met with the sight of a pretty looking girl. As realization sunk in that it was me, I leaned in towards the mirror and another figure appeared into it. I vaguely recognized him as Niall.
